Fock me dat will break de Calculator.

Current estimated fees are €2,500 for 75mins, so €2,000 per hour.

    4 hours x €2,000 = €8,000.

    Double Time on a Sunday = €16,000.

    Triple Time on a Sunday = €24,000.

    FOCK ME.

Joe, stupid taxi driver and middle class wannabe hipster with her stock phrases - "the Catholic Church" - ganging up on this man.

It was a fairly innocuous point so a bit unfair Joe brought him on to humiliate him.

Yet Joe was a pretty good altar boy back in the day.

    So pathetic from them all.

Can anybody tell me why campaigners against violence, etc aren't protesting judges, politicians, etc instead of wanting money for "education" and funding for their quangos and salaries?

I always assumed it's because they can't bring themselves to actually use enforcement, as it might actually bring some justice and they'd lose all the attention.

on 11 mimutes (in podcast section) a so called women against male violence worker came on and even fateen knew she could throw a hand grenade faster than the speed of light so he cunningly confused her talking about cp while she was banging on about porn. the damn clock ran otherwise it was either libel or gold perhaps both

Didn't know D'Arcy was sponsorless, could de TV licence not sponsor him, they basically have enough ads on RTE to warrant it.

I posted recently my suspicions about a possible strategy of RTE - wages are a big controversy but if they reduce hours worked and reduce wages it appears that they have made an effort to address controversial wages. I’ve lost track of the amount of Morning Ireland presenters. Drivetime’s main presenter is Mary Wilson but John Murray, Philip and more recently, Sarah often fill in for her. I’m an avid radio listener and it is very noticeable to me

    GET WIT DE PROGRAMME CALLER!

Dat theory was proposed by me several years ago, and oft-repeated on here caller. As they only give top line figures, taking Fateen for example they could say he "wurked":

    250 hours x (for example's sake say) €1,500 per hour in 2-12 = €375,000

But there's not a chance in hell those fees weren't negotiated upwards to account for inflated egos inflation etc. over the years.

So let's say by 2-15 dat €1,500 after three incremental increases is now €2,500 per hour. So now to "earn" €375,000 he'd "only" have to wurk 150 hours. RTE can say his (total) fees haven't increased - but he's "wurked" 40% less hours to earn the same amount of money, and has had even more time off break-eens.

EXAMPLE ONLY, but you get the point.

The total cost of wages/fees is increasing so clearly there's some element of creative accounting and/or fudging going on. What's likely happening is even more fat pigs have their snouts in the trough, but to avoid the controversial and outraged headlines (though only someone as out of touch as Dee 4bes could think €400K+ for a man who wurks 75mins a day, 4 days a week, 40 weeks a year isn't outrageous) the fat is spread more evenly.
