he seemed to be out of the saddle a lot earlier on. in his strongest days he tends to be constantly sat in the saddle spinning at 200rpm.

quintana never seems to have that acceleration to keep up or else isnt paying attention to his rivals and gets dropped

He really hasn't challenged much at the tour for a few years now. His contract is up next year. Can see movistar opting to back Landa going forward as Nairo has constantly bottled it.

Always found Quintana over-rated, if there was ever an attack he struggled with acceleration
