Uggghhh did Kirby just call him the Price of Wales

Thomas could be in trouble here or he could just attack and win the stage

The descents are going to be very interesting, no skybots to control it.

Dan must be completely blown, no sign of him getting back to Froome even.

edit...scrap that, him and Bernal back to Froome now...

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,033 ✭✭✭irishrover99

    Froome is really breathing hard.
Where is that human inhaler from the Giro when you need him.

we seen froome like this and then find something.... i'm guessing that would be a few puffs of his inhaler..

He's too terrified to reach for it, the crowd would lynch him.

In fairness he doesn't look like he's struggling to hold the wheel

    He looks very comfortable

Geraint Thomas winning the Tour will rank as one of the craziest things to ever happen in Cycling but seeing Froome struggling and getting dropped by his super dom is at least something to sober up that harrowing thought.

Egan Bernal is a freak. God only knows what he'll achieve when he's given his chance to lead a team

  • Registered Users Posts: 966 ✭✭✭equivariant

Bernal is a beast - gets back on and rides straight to the front to set the pace. Thomas and Froome owe him a big bonus (drags Froome back on I should say)

In reality Sky are the only "team" in the tour and any rider with ability has a bigger chance with them than any other teams, who are frankly a shambles

Bernal is probably the strongest Sky rider. Shame he wasn't given a chance and he probably would have had UCI done their job.

Unless he gets an English passport he won't win a grand tour with Sky

What are the odds of somebody crashing out in this last descent? I'm thinking pretty high.

No one has to push it as they are all in the same group so they will most likely take it easy going down

From pulling out his patented sitting on the bar cycling move

Blearrgh! I do hate the out of control washing machine pedalling style most, but this has to be close second.

None at all, he'll barely lose time

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,113 ✭✭✭mr spuckler

this looks like an amazing descent :D

edit...Dan best be careful not to let gaps appear

Roglic should have packed in the skiing earlier, what a monster of a cyclist
