Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tescomobile stole my data

With one day left to go on my monthly pay as you go plan I still had some calls and gigabytes remaining, plus a grand plan on how to use them up. While I was on the tesco website I decided to put in enough euros to cover the next payment and hey presto ALL MY CALLS AND DATA DISAPPEARED. The woman I spoke to about it sounded like a computer, she kept repeating ' it's company policy', and I could sense the smirk on her with every repetition. This is THEFT, plain and simple, and this next month with a company that steals from its customers as a matter of company policy will likely be my last.

They're all cowboys. Three went and changed their monthly top up window from being a calender month (i.e. 27th of one month to the 27th of the next, regardless of it being a 28, 29, 30 or 31 day month) to 28 days clear. Top up date used to fall nicely infront of pay day, now it falls 5 or so days before and continues to go back further every month.

The magic of mobile phones is that they persuade people to fork out money for something they don't really need.
Forty euros a month to be able to snapchat pictures of your food to your friends?

They're doing it wrong so. €20 every 28 days for me, of which I keep €10, that I can use on Google play store.

I know. I was being kind.

That people will spend forty euros a month in order to drunk-share pictures of their naked self for the world to see is symptomatic of the maelstrom into which civilisation is being sucked.

Perhaps it might be best to discuss this with Tesco mobile themselves on their forum here?

I reckon you will have a better chance of resolving this by talking to them than not.

I still don’t get what they did? OP topped up and then had no service, or they just stuck on a new 28 day plan for the OP a day early?

They did what the OP signed up to.

I get you I think. So say they had a plan with 50gb and 1000 minutes and had 10gb and 100 minutes left before they topped up, now they have 50gb and 1000 minutes and not 60gb and 1100 minutes

    That sort of thing?

Well they were advised it's company policy so it would be contained in the terms and conditions they agreed to. It's likely my point won't be appreciated and I'm not trying to be contrarian but that is the reality. A customer doesn't have grounds to complain about a policy they agreed to.
