    Hey,

I plan on moving country at the end of August for at least a period of 2 years.
I have a current account and credit card open with BOI.

Do I need to notify BOI about my move in any way?
Do I need to close my account/credit card?
Will I need to change my address to my new one even though my current address is a family address?

    Thanks

    Hi anglind,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

There's no need to notify us that you'll be using your account and card while abroad however, we do recommend that you have access to the mobile and email that you have set up on your account in case we need to contact you about any transactions on your cards. If you should need to update your mobile number to receive payee security codes, you'll need access to any correspondence that we send to your account address.

    Thanks,
    Tara
