Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Time that goes into posts is more important than post count.

    Some posters put a lot of time and effort into their posts, and that's not a bad thing. Too many people are content to let interests slip if their friends aren't into them or if conversation doesn't veer that way.

    It's the constant repetition of some few self declared 'experts' who regularly run down all posts to a topic and then reiterate that they have been thanked xillion times so they must be right - which I grow bored of the quickest.

    One such id10t was such a boring drone that I didn't bother posting for an extended period...

    Really don't mind high post counts though and will occassionly check the exploits of some of boards more intersting regular posters when I'm bored just for the craic!
