I can see Saturday’s game for them being a write off with their next home game when they make a tribute /put on a show

Sounds like the Burnley fixture the following weekend could also be problematic if the entire first team squad decide to fly to Bangkok sometime after Saturday's game.

Manuel Pellegrini on Marko Arnautovic's game-time v Spurs: "Marko just worked one day during the week so it was too risky to play more than 30 minutes. He has no problem but he always has some sort of disturbance with his knee but it is not an injury."

To get him or not is the question.

He even brought Mahrez on for 10 minutes of pointlessness. He's the boss I guess.

Had planned on Ricky to KDB. Thankfully waiting paid off! Now I don’t know what to do tho

Well that's me leaving kdb out of my plans for a while. If his knee is still not right it could be a while before he's back to match fitness

exactly what I thought when I saw the news. I still think he'll miss the odd game somewhere, but this is a big development if KDB is indeed out for another month at least.

Had completely discounted moving for mahrez but I may reconsider now
    To the batcave !

Sarri has form for this. He said Hazard would play 60 minutes at most against Newcastle and he ended up playing the full game!

Don't think they need mind games against Palace though.

That ended up being a really tight game in the end he'd take him off if they were up a couple if he is starting that is

KDB wouldn't be playing RW so there is no change for Mahrez, it's Bilva and Dilva who benefit from his injury.

Its one less body.....I have decided to do diff transfers anyway and wait and see till after the Derby

If they’re up a couple you’d have to expect that he’d be amongst the points anyway :)

Regardless, it would be utter madness to sell or bench him based on those comments from Sarri.

Game was tighter than he probably hoped for. I think he was simply wrong. Probably shouldn't have played the whole game with the injury popping up.

Is Arnautovic sure to play tomorrow ?

Went back through a few pages here but didnt see anything about it

Never sure with him. Manager said his knee is feeling better each week. Was ill last week but fully recovered and the knee had a rest. Unless he feels something on matchday I'd imagine he's penciled in to play.

"In this moment we are managing with the medical staff to try and give him a little bit more rest after the game," Pellegrini said.

"Last week he worked just one day, with his knee and then with the virus, so it was not good for him to play Wednesday really.

"I was just talking with him and his knee is improving a little bit every week."

It looks like he'll play through the pain. I'm taking a chance on him.

That would solve my Richarlison vs Doherty dilemma. He's currently on my bench.

It would give me a problem as I want to bench mitrovic and bank transfer but may have to sell him now

Going Richarlison -> Maddison a few gameweeks ago is right up there with my worst ever decisions in the game.

And there ends my no-hit streak of 11 GWs :(

Had been planning to bank but Maddison out will force me into a sideways/downwards move....Gray should be guaranteed his place now I assume?

Horrible, just after Ricky rose the .1 to put him out of my reach, what a horrible transfer he has been!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Thats a killer to his owners. As a non-owner though, its great news. Really feared a big return from him v Burnley.

No. He'll only become locked when the red flag is lifted.
