Delighted with that, classic Leeds and Justice for the whole spy gate incident.

A howler effectively decides it. I'd have said Villa will win easily, but after tonight who knows. If derby go up, they'll be down so fast

Rams to the slaughter.:p Themselves, Norwich and Sheffield United will be competing for the lowest ever prem points total...

As a Derby fan I agree, i could/will be embarassing, but you know what it might be nice to be there...obvioulsy we have to get past Villa first..(which I doubt)

That stop crying Frank Lamaprd song has come back to bite Leeds fans.

Great celebrations by Derby in the dressing room

Extra security for tonight's game between Portsmouth and Sunderland, after some idiot thought it a good idea to threaten to bomb Fratton Park.

Sunderland into the league 1 play off final.

An unpleasant Portsmouth fan kicked a Sunderland player who fell into the crowd, couple of times too, which is extra classy. It was a shocker of a game. Dreadful in every sense.

Doncaster equalize the tie with a couple of minutes to go:eek: And this was supposed to be the predictable playoff semi...

I'd prefer Doncaster to go up, I can't believe Charlton ended up third.

Donnie miss again & Charlton win 4-3 on penos

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,971 ✭✭✭✭Loafing Oaf

Why do teams send big lumbering centre halves up to take penos? You just knew that Charlton guy was going to miss

An interesting article on the playoffs a team playing in red and white stripes have never won.

'Are Sunderland cursed? In the 13 play-off finals featuring Brentford, Exeter City, Lincoln City, Sheffield United or Sunderland - none of these sides have won.'

I think they'll win this year along with Tranmere and hopefully Villa.

    Stoke have sacked Berahino.

He had 3 years left on his contract.

Hope Sunderland get over the line today. Absolute mayhem in central London last night their fans had taken over Trafalgar Square.

Hope for the keeper's sake this doesn't end up deciding it. What a disaster.

Season 2 of Sunderland Till I Die is going to have a very sad ending again.

Losing the game 2 - 1 to a 94th minute last kick of the game winner in a play off final.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,063 ✭✭✭Ohmeha

Some ending that, though Charlton did deserve the win

Going to be interesting to see what happens to Sunderland next season, surely will have to be cutbacks there

    Villa deservedly promoted

Justin Edinburgh has passed away, very sad for such a young man after having a great season with Orient. Just 49. RIP.

That's shocking. A familiar name to those of us who watched the Premier League in the 90s. Sorry to hear this.

Poor guy. Yes, I first started supporting Spurs around 1992 and recall him as being an ever present for many years. RIP.
