Felt a bit strange to have a dull morning and hear rain when I was getting up this morning, even though we've had some rain in the last month. There is 1.0mm rain recorded since midnight, really in the last hour. It's quite warm and humid at the moment - 17.7C RH 89%. The overnight low was 18.1C an hour ago. The high since midnight was 19.3C earlier.

Cloudy but dry (now) in Dublin 16. 1.0mm recorded today. Feeling fresher now. 16.7c atm.

Drove from Cork City to Dublin City today : departed Cork at noon.
Overcast sky had cleared to give a bright sunny day by noon and it was sunny and dry all the way up through Cork County, Tipperary, Laois, Kildare, Dublin county and Dublin city.

Temperature gauge fluctuated a bit throughout : in Cork it read 16 degrees.
In Tipp and Laois, it read 18-19 degrees. In Kildare-Dublin it read 17 degrees.

It is noticeable along the verges of the motorway/dual carriage, that the grass/gorse still looks straw-like in many places. Presumably rainfall amounts and soil, both remain in deficit.
