    Hi,

Looking to pick up the AVRX2400 to replace my current amp. Any chance you can do any better than the price on your website?

Secondly - I have a 7.1 setup with 6 Monitor Audio CT165 speakers in my ceiling. The centre channel I'm using is from my old setup - a Jamo A10 CEN (http://www.jamo.com/products/a10cen) , which I assume is completely underpowered for the setup. Would upgrading that make much of an improvement/difference?

The obvious upgrade would be a Monitor Audio Bronze Centre but the advantage of the Jamo is its low profile and is barely noticed hanging from my TV (in attachment).
Would I be able to mount the the bronze centre under the tv like my current setup? My tv is on a Sanus LT25 wall mount.

Is there anything else that would work well and be relatively low profile?

    Thanks,
    Donal

    Hi Donny.

Unfortunately it would seem the best priceon the AVRX2400 would be the listed £325 price.

There are no mounting points on the Bronze centre so it could not be mounted like your current one.
Most centre speakers that come single as usuall all pretty large compared to the one you currently own.
You could maybe use a shelf like the Sanus VMA401 priced at £29.95
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-200140-vma401.aspx

The Bronze Centre would be a great upgrade. Currently priced at £159.00. I could offer this for £139.00 if purchased with the 2400.

There is also the NEW Monitor Audio Monitor C150 priced at £140. I could offer these for £123.00 along with the AVRX2400.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Hey,

Thanks for getting back to me. Don't think that shelf is an option with small kids so I might have to rethink things a bit.

If I want a speaker to mount beneath the TV, I might have to go up to the Radius 225 by the looks of it, which is a bit of a jump in price. Would that match my existing CT165s well and any chance you can do a great deal on the price? :)

    Thanks,
    Donal

    Hi Donal.

The Radius 225 does have mounting points on the back of it which allows you to hang it on a wall. I'm not sure how you would fit this to your bracket though?

If you wanted a crazy deal on the 225 I could offer a Gloss Black one for £161 delivered.

Hey, that price sounds good. I assume it would match well with my CT165s?

I'm thinking I could hook it up to a soundbar mount something like this:
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-200135-fpa405-b2.aspx

Otherwise I might end up attaching it to the wall if necessary. I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Let me see if I can get the funds together and I'll get back to you today or tomorrow.

    Thanks!

    Hey Donal.

Yes the 225 would fit in with your CT165's with no issues.

The issue that might arise with that Sanus mount and the 225 is that the 225 does not have any threaded mounting points.
It has the type of wall mounts that allows it to hang on a screw or nail, like the type of hooks you get a pictureframe.

If the 225 is mounted on the Sanus arms it might tilt a little forward.
Unless you used a nut and bolt and put the 225 on the bolt and then put the bolt through the arms, then used the nut to tighten it right up which would hopefully fix the two together.

You would need to source your own nut and bolt as something like this would not be supplied with either arms or centre.

Fixed directly to the wall would be the best option though.

Thanks Kenny. I understand but thanks for highlighting it. I'm sure I'll figure something out. I had a similar problem with my existing speaker and a piece of styrofoam is what's keeping it away from the wall and from hanging down.. I might come up with a better solution this time :)

Thanks. I'll be in touch soon!
