Why ever not? Great idea. Better than in the wind in a field and will save you listening to the rain hammering on the aluminium over your head all night. And sure who will know? People camp all the time and park their cars in sheds all the time. There is no shed police!

Someone would rat you out and the council would get heavy I'd imagine.they would probably say you have no waste disposal set up or some other health and safety sh1te to get at you.id not give a flying monkeys to be honest.if that's what a person wants and they weren't harming anyone nothing wrong with it but the country you have now some pr1ck would hate to see you content and would go telling tales

Council have bye laws etc to not allow this.

Same with if one parks up in a van or camper as they must be in a camp site and such.

There is talk about allowing wood cabins but no change as of yet.

Can you live in a caravan? Some people do.

Is it legal to live in a caravan? It depends.

What if the caravan is on your own lands? I suppose that the most obvious issue is planning permission. Ask someone who knows about that. Not many lawyers are experts in the area but loads of architects and engineers know a lot about it. And planners.

There is a construction and planning forum on boards.ie.

What's the worst that will happen.

You'll get a letter from the council telling you that you have to desist.

You can always get legal advice if or when that happens.

Also I think that most people would park their caravan around the back of the shed rather than in the shed.

You would then have to disconnect all services such as water sewage and electricity and undo any other works.

That's what I was thinking, a busy body curtain twitcher would be your down fall, but if you have enough land and your shed is out of the main sight of others than you'd probably be grand
