Need car advice for low budget 2k

Hey. I want to get a car for low price that would be reliable. I want to spend 2k max or little more. But ideally it would be petrol max 1.6 and 2005+

I was thinking about hyundai coupe. opel corsa, honda civic vii and vii 1.4...

Any ideas on what u would get in my case? Id also want something that isnt really really slow.
It would be first car aswell.

Do you have named driver NCB under you? Also what will the car be used for (motorway cruising, pottering around town, commute)?

If it's just a first car to build NCB before getting something else, I'd consider a Suzuki Swift (not necessarily this particular example), they're slow but good fun to drive, think of it as a gokart with a roof, if relatively well looked after it should prove reliable, won't cost a whole lot to insure and won't drink petrol.

First look at this https://www.reliabilityindex.com/top-100
Look in Bangernomics thread and see if you can find one from the list above in there.

Disregard all your requirements except for "reliable".
Once you have enough expereince you can move on to nicer/faster cars but stay with Yaris, Micra etc for now.
