Great goal from Depay to make it 1-0. Seems to be rediscovering his best form at the right time.

1-1: Dossevi equalises after poor defending from Mendy in Toulouse's first decent attack of the game.

2-1 Lyon: Traore floats in a ball and Ndombele sticks a leg out. Not sure if Ndombele made contact but it's beaten the keeper.

Pen to Lyon which Fekir wins with great skill. And Fekir converts it for 3-1.

4-1 Lyon with a little over twenty minutes remaining. Dembele with a nicely taken goal. Surely Lyon can't mess this up now.

5-1 Lyon. Dembele taps in Fekir's cross. Lyon making a statement today.

Red card for Toulouse's Cahuzac. Caps off a rotten day for them. Seven minutes left in normal time.

Result: Lyon win 5-1. Could have been an even bigger margin of victory as well. Great to see Lyon producing this kind of performance. They have the quality to do it more regularly. Five points behind Lille now in second.

Just turned over to Marseille vs St Etienne to see Balotelli give the home side the lead with a sweet volley. He then celebrates by taking a phone from a photographer and taking a selfie with his teammates. Love it.

Marseille have beateh St Etienne 2-0 to jump above them into fourth. Goals from Balotelli and a Thauvin spot kick. They're now 5 points behind Lyon who themselves are 5 behind Lille. Looking an interesting battle for the Champions League spots.

An appetizer this evening before the Champions League games with Ligue 1 action from 6pm on BT Sport ESPN; Bordeaux in 13th host Montpellier in 8th and it's probably a must-win for Montpellier if they want to keep alive their slim hopes of a Champions League place. A loss leaves them 11 points off Lyon. Team news:
Bordeaux XI: Costil; Palencia, Kounde, Pablo, Poundje; Plasil, Otavio; Karamoh, Basic, De Preville; Briand.

Montpellier XI: Lecomte; Suarez, Congre, Hilton, Cozza, Oyongo; Le Tallec, Lasne, Mollet; Laborde, Delort.

Surprised Kamano is only on the bench for the home side. Laborde and Delort are one of the best strike combos in the league. Mollet capable of quality too.

    Expecting Montpellier to edge it.

Update: 1-0 Montpellier after 20 minutes. Delort does well to pick out a cross for Lasne who heads home. Bordeaux defence asleep.

1-1: Karamoh does well to set up De Preville whose shot is going wide but takes a big deflection off Basic.

2-1: Congre scores from close range from a corner early into the second half. Bordeaux unconvincing at the back again.

Full-Time: It ends 2-1 to Montpellier. Hard fought win but a deserved one. Hilton solid at the back.

Job done yesterday and a potential banana skin avoided. PSG away in the last 4... the run was enjoyable while it lasted.

Yeah, I can see Tuchel treating the Cup games very seriously now after the European exit. He's already unable to match Emery's record last season of a domestic treble and if they were to go out of another cup competition there would be even bigger pressure on his position.

Fine result tonight for Ligue 1's 10th-placed side recording a win by a margin of two goals over the Premier League's 5th-placed one. Seen a lot of arrogant and dismissive comments thrown Rennes' way from commentators which I found unkind. Julien Stephan doing a hell of a job with them.

Lyon doing Lyon things as they blow a 2-0 lead away to Strasbourg to draw 2-2. Ajorque and Dembele with a brace each for both sides. Normally you'd say that's not ideal preparation for Barca but you just never know with this team what performance they'll offer up.

Monaco vs Bordeaux coming up from 7pm on BT Sport Extra 2.
Monaco XI: Subasic; Sidibe, Jemerson, Badiashile, Ballo-Toure; Fabregas, Adrien Silva; Rony Lopes, Golovin, Gelson Martins; Falcao.

Bordeaux XI: Costil; Sabaly, Kounde, Pablo, Poundje; Otavio, Tchouanemi, Sankhare; Kamano, Briand, De Preville.

A win for Monaco would move them 9 points clear of 18th. I'll say Monaco to win by a goal.

Update: 1-0 Monaco minutes into the second half. Great header from Falcao from Ballo-Toure's cross.

Now a pen for Bordeaux. Falcao turns villain handling the ball. And Briand sends Subasic the wrong way. 1-1. 25 minutes remaining.

Almost 2-1 Bordeaux but Karamoh misses a sitter.

And almost 2-1 for Monaco but Vinicius' goal is ruled offside by VAR. Minutes remaining for a winner to be found.

Full-Time and it ends 1-1. Both sides with chances but I think a draw is a fair result. Falcao played well for Monaco (besides conceding the pen); de Preville good for the visitors.

    Saturday's results:
    Strasbourg 2-2 Lyon
    Amiens 2-1 Nimes
    Dijon 1-1 Reims
    Monaco 1-1 Bordeaux

Not only have Lyon allowed Lille the chance to pull 7 points clear tomorrow in the battle for the automatic Champions League spot but Marcelo went off injured after 17 minutes. Even though he's not been in great form of late his absence against Barca would be a blow.

Struggling Amiens with a great win over Nimes that sees them move one place ahead of Monaco into 16th. Stoke's on loan full-back Erik Pieters with the winning goal for them.

Dijon stay 18th, 6 points off Monaco, but considering they went down to ten men after just 3 minutes, and they were playing Reims who are 6th, I think that has to go down as a great point.

Three interesting live games tomorrow. 5th-place Saint-Etienne at home to 2nd-place Lille from 2pm in a match that's significant for the European places. Rennes, fresh off their win against Arsenal, at home to 19th-place Caen from 4pm with the visitors desperate for some points. Evening game from 8pm is Marseille in 4th at home to Nice in 8th as Mario Balotelli goes up against his former side for the first time. I'm sure he'd love to get one over on Patrick Vieira and vice-versa.

    Teams for Saint-Etienne vs Lille:
St Etienne XI: Ruffier; Debuchy, Saliba, Subotic, Kolodziejczak; M'Vila, Ait-Bennasser; Hamouma, Cabella, Khazri; Beric.

Lille XI: Maignan; Celik, Jose Fonte, Gabriel, Kone; Xeka, Thiago Mendes; Pepe, Ikone, Bamba; Leao.

Game is live from 2pm on BT Sport Extra 3.

Want to see some excitement from Khazri and Pepe in this one. I'll go for a 2-2 draw.

Pepe scores! Finally a breakthrough in what's been a disappointing game. 1-0 Lille with 5 minutes remaining.

Now Debuchy sent off for Saint-Etienne. And Khazri given a straight red. St Etienne finishing the game with 9 men.

It ends 1-0 to Lille. Didn't live up to the expectations this one but a valuable win for Lille.

    Sunday's results so far:
    St Etienne 0-1 Lille
    Montpellier 2-2 Angers
    Toulouse 1-0 Guingamp
    Rennes 3-1 Caen

Really poor result for Montpellier; they were 2-0 up and Angers were down to ten men for the final twenty minutes yet Angers grabbed a point via a stoppage time goal from Bahoken. Had Montpellier won they would have gone 4th but instead they stay 7th.

Toulouse the big winners in the relegation scrap. Former Arsenal man Yaya Sanogo with the winner that lifts them 15th while Guingamp stay bottom.

Speaking of Arsenal, Rennes looking good ahead of the Europa League visit to London with a win that takes them 8th. Bourigeaud, Hunou and Niang with the goals. Sarr had two assists. Caen remain 19th.

There were 5 red cards in the 4 games.

Marseille vs Nice coming up at 8pm on BT Sport 1. Teams are in:
Marseille XI: Mandanda; B.Sarr, Kamara, Caleta-Car, Sakai; Thauvin, Lopez, Sanson, Ocampos; Germain, Balotelli.

Nice XI: Benitez; Atal, M.Sarr, Dante, Herelle, Jallet; Walter, Tameze, Lees-Melou; Makengo, Saint-Maximin.

Two former Nice strikers in Marseille's front two. Fancy Balotelli especially will be very motivated to send a message. Also fancy Saint-Maximin to have a good showing.

Big game as a Marseille win puts them 3 points behind Lyon in the battle for a Champions League spot; a win for Nice moves them a point behind Marseille. I'll go for the home side to edge it by a goal.

Half-Time: 0-0 at the break. Thauvin went close with a shot from outside the box but Benitez made a great fingertip save.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    Super Mario's done it again.

1-0 Marseille as Balotelli heads in a lovely cross from Ocampos. About a half an hour remaining.

Commentator said he's the first Marseille player to score in his first four matches in 45 years.

Full-Time and Marseille win 1-0. They're now breathing down Lyon's neck for that final CL spot. Balotelli, Thauvin and Ocampos did well. Saint-Maximin the bright spot for Nice but they did look blunt in attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Dijon vs PSG coming up at 6pm on BT Sport Extra 2. Team news:
Dijon XI: Runarsson; Yambere, Lautoa, Aguerd; Amalfitano, Marie, Balmont, Abeid; Jeannot, Tavares, Said.

PSG XI: Areola; Meunier, Thiago Silva, Kimpembe, Bernat; Nkunku, Verratti, Marquinhos, Kurzawa; Di Maria, Mbappe.

Hard to see Kombouare getting anything against his former team. Whatever the result Dijon will stay 18th. Chance for Mbappe to increase his lead at the top of the scoring charts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

1-0 PSG already. Marquinhos heads in from a Di Maria corner after 7 minutes. Poor goal for Dijon to concede. Could be a long evening for them.

2-0 shortly before Half-Time. Mbappe slides it in following Kurzawa's low cross.

3-0. Beautiful free-kick from Di Maria, in off the post. Another 40 minutes for Dijon to endure.

4-0. Choupo-Moting slots home Meunier's low cross in the final kick of the game.

Full-Time. Comfortable night's work for PSG as they win 4-0.

Exciting game in Ligue 1 tonight as Lille host Monaco. Chance for Lille to go temporarily 10 points clear of Lyon for the second automatic Champions League spot with a win, while a Monaco win moves them 9 points ahead of 18th-placed Dijon.
Lille XI: Maignan; Celik, Jose Fonte, Gabriel, Kone; Thiago Mendes, Xeka; Pepe, Ikone, Bamba; Leao.

Monaco XI: Subasic; Sidibe, Glik, Jemerson, Ballo-Toure; Adrien Silva, Aholou; Gelson Martins, Golovin, Rony Lopes; Vinicius.

Pity Falcao is suspended and Fabregas injured but still a chance to watch two of Ligue 1's in-form attacking players in Pepe and Gelson Martins.

Monaco won this game 4-0 last season but the fortunes of both sides are very different now. Fancy a Lille win. Hopefully a few goals. Game is on BT Sport ESPN at 7.45pm.

Oh my goodness Thiago Mendes with a contender for miss of the season. Pepe put it on a plate for him. Still 0-0.

0-0 at Half-Time. Lille should be ahead but have been wasteful. Mendes with the worst miss, but Bamba had a bad one too and has hit the post, while Pepe forced Subasic into a good save. Monaco not offering a lot.

In the other game tonight Nice have drawn 1-1 with Toulouse. The away side grabbing a point with an 88th minute equaliser. Doesn't look like Nice will be getting European football. Dropping too many points.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Wow, looks like Monaco have stolen this. Vinicius with his first goal for the club in the 90th minute.

Full-Time and Monaco win it 1-0. Lille will be kicking themselves for all those missed chances. Probably should have been leading 3-0 at Half-Time. In fairness to Jardim's side they did test Maignan a lot in the second half so probably deserved at least a point, but to get all three is a massive result. Monaco now up to 16th in the table. Chance now for Lyon to cut the gap between them and Lille to 4 points if they beat Montpellier on Sunday.

    Saturday results:
    Angers 0-0 Amiens
    Caen 0-5 Saint-Etienne
    Guingamp 1-0 Dijon
    Nimes 2-2 Strasbourg

Big results at the foot of the table. Guingamp have jumped from 20th to the relegation/promotion play-off spot in 18th thanks to an 86th minute penalty from Ludovic Blas. Caen have fallen from 18th to bottom after being thrashed by St Etienne who are now fifth.

17th-place Amiens got a precious point with their keeper Regis Gurtner saving a pen with six minutes remaining. They're now seven points clear of the bottom three.

In the other game, Strasbourg's European hopes continue to slip as they blew a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 with Nimes; Teji Savanier getting an assist and scoring a stoppage time pen.

Live matches pn BT tomorrow are Lyon vs Montpellier from 2pm, Bordeaux vs Rennes from 4pm, and the big evening clash of PSG vs Marseille from 8pm. Marseille's fans have been banned from attending for past incidents, while it looks like Balotelli will miss the game with doubts over his fitness. That would be a shame.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Lyon have beaten Montpellier 3-2 and played very well. Terrier, Dembele and Aouar with the goals for the home side, Match was more one-sided than the scoreline suggests as Fekir missed a penalty and Lecomte had to make a string of good saves. Mollet scored a lovely free-kick and Camara with a great header for the visitors but they were well beaten. Dembele and Ndombele were great.

Looks a good weekend for Lyon as they're now just 4 points behind Lille in second and they'll stay 6 points clear of Marseille if PSG beat them tonight.

Elsewhere Reims currently leading Nantes 1-0 and they'll be right in the European places hunt if that stays the same.

    Sunday results:
    Lyon 3-2 Montpellier
    Reims 1-0 Nantes
    Bordeaux 1-1 Rennes
    PSG 3-1 Marseille

PSG win Le Classique but the big story is Mandanda having a shocker for Marseille. He almost scored an O.G. and then got himself sent off for handling outside the box. I'm amazed Deschamps called him up to the French squad recently as he's looked a liability all season. Think Marseille need a new keeper next season. I only caught the last twenty minutes of the game but Di Maria looked the MOTM. He scored two goals, one of which was this stunning free-kick:

    https://twitter.com/footynews34/status/1107394183713697803

He could have had a hat-trick as PSG won a pen in the final seconds but Mbappe wouldn't let him have it and Mbappe's pen was then saved by Pele. Marseille stay 6 points behind Lyon for the final Champions League place.

Rennes also managed to nick a point in the final seconds via an M'Baye Niang equaliser. They're 8th in the table.

Ligue 1 is back tonight with a tasty game that has implications for the European places. Eighth place Rennes are home to third place Lyon. Teams:
Rennes XI: Koubek; Zeffane, Nyamsi, Mexer, Doumbia; Sarr, Andre, Lea-Siliki, Hunou; Niang, Ben Arfa.

Lyon XI: Lopes; Dubois, Marcelo, Denayer, Rafael; Tousart, Ndombele; Aouar, Fekir, Depay; Dembele.

Loads of exciting talents on display in this one. Game is on BT Sport ESPN from 7:45pm.

Rennes have a good record at home and they've won their last two games against Lyon. I'll go for a draw in this one. Hopefully some goals on the way.

Update: 0-0 at the break. Lyon had the chances to go ahead but Depay and Fekir failed to make the most of them. Ndombele playing well. Ben Arfa looking bright for Rennes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Substitute Martin Terrier makes it 1-0 Lyon with only minutes remaining. Hunou missed a great chance for Rennes to take the lead just moments before.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Full-Time and Lyon win 1-0 to go temporarily a point behind Lille.

Deserved win for Genesio's side with Ndombele the standout. Tousart and Aouar did well too. Depay was disappointing. The young Rennes centre-back Gerzino Nyamsi stood out and won the battle with Dembele who was subbed off. Ben Arfa had some good moments as well.

The Coupe de Ligue final is tomorrow evening between Strasbourg and Guingamp. BT Sport ESPN are showing it from 8:05pm. Will be nice to see a team besides PSG picking up some silverware.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Teams for the Coupe de la Ligue final (7:45pm k.o., BT Sport ESPN):
Strasbourg XI: Kamara; Kone, Mitrovic, Martinez; Lala, Sissoko, Prcic, Thomasson, Caci; Mothiba, Ajorque.

Guingamp XI: Caillard; Traore, Sorbon, Kerbrat, Rebocho; Blas, Phiri, Ndong; Benezet, Thuram, Roux.

Chance for former Sunderland man Didier Ndong to pick up silverware. That would be some turnaround from his miserable time in England's north-east.

Fancy Strasbourg to win it. I like their strike force of Mothiba and Ajorque and Kenny Lala is a quality wing-back. Marcus Thuram and Nolan Roux can also cause problems though.

In the only Ligue 1 game today, Marseille threw away a two goal lead to draw 2-2 against Angers. Balotelli had scored both goals but Marseille conceded two pens, both scored by Thomas Mangani.

Nice to see Arsene in attendance.

Ugh, Nolan Roux gets an accidental elbow to the eye from Mitrovic and his eye is already closing up. Going to have to come off now which is a blow for Guingamp.

0-0 at Full-Time so Extra-Time on the way. Strasbourg came closest to scoring via Thomasson. Not been a good final. The tension of the occasion getting to both teams so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Full-Time and the sides can't be separated so the final is going to penalties.

Mendy who came on for Roux had a chance to win it seconds before the end of Extra-Time but Strasbourg keeper Kamara saved it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

    Strasbourg win the cup!

There was a shocking pen from Mendy who blazed over at the start and a brilliant Panenka from Strasbourg's Lienard. They seem to be a regular thing in shootouts these days. Guingamp's Rodelin had his pen saved by Kamara before Carole converted the winning pen.

Was a very poor spectacle, tense and edgy. The pens provided a welcome bit of excitement.

Happy for Strasbourg and their coach Laurey. They've had a great season.

    Sunday's results:
    Amiens 0-0 Bordeaux
    Dijon 0-1 Nice
    Monaco 0-1 Caen
    Nantes 2-3 Lille

Huge win for Lille in their push for a Champions League place. It was goalless at half-time and then Nantes went into a 2-0 lead before goals from Leao, Pepe and Bamba turned it around. There were three pens in the game, one of which was missed by Nantes in the final ten minutes. All of that action came in the second half as well. Lille now 4 points ahead of Lyon.

Big surprise for Monaco as bottom side Caen beat them to jump up to 18th spot. Monaco still 7 points clear so you'd think they should be okay but that's a worrying result. Dijon are now bottom with their loss as Nice go 7th. Decent point for Amiens who remain in 17th and 7 points clear of the bottom three.

Looking like the bottom three of Caen, Guingamp and Dijon will be scrapping it out for the relegation/promotion play-off spot in 18th. Only two points separating them atm.

Final game tonight is Toulouse vs PSG. Teams:
Toulouse XI: Reynet; Adou, Shoji, Jullien, Sylla; Sidibe, Cahuzac, Sangare, Durmaz; Sanogo, Gradel.

PSG XI: Areola; Kehrer, Marquinhos, Kimpembe; Dagba, Paredes, Bernat, Kurzawa; Nkunku, Mbappe, Choupo-Moting.

PSG with a lot of injuries and Tuchel has only named 5 on the bench. Toulouse's record against PSG is decent: they lost their last two games 1-0 and managed to beat Paris in this fixture in the 16-17 season. Upset on the cards? Bookies only rate them 6/1 to win, with the away side 4/11. Draw is deemed 7/2.

I do like Sangare in midfield and Gradel is a quality striker. That PSG line-up doesn't look good to me, although Verratti is on the bench. I'm going to say Toulouse will get a draw.

Game is on BT Sport from 8pm.

Sangare lucky this was only a yellow.

Choupo-Moting just had a dreadful miss from a few yards out.

Jullien very close to giving Toulouse the lead with a header. Great stop from Areola.

Looked like Marquinhos had given PSG the lead but VAR ruled it out for offside. I'd say PSG fans are wondering why VAR didn't intervene over the Sangare challenge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Great chance for Sanogo to give Toulouse the lead. Another big stop from Areola.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Mbappe makes it 1-0. It hasn't been his best game but that was a lovely goal. Plucks it out of the sky and rifles it into the corner. Toulouse have 15 minutes to find an equaliser.

    https://twitter.com/DanBloomSports/status/1112454234019115009

Update: Full-Time and PSG win it 1-0. Toulouse will be disappointed as the chances were there to get something from the game. Areola did the business when called upon. Mbappe continues his fantastic season. I thought Sangare played very well for Toulouse. I think he will be highly sought after in the summer.

Rennes have reached the Coupe de France final after beating Lyon 3-2. They'll play PSG or Nantes who play tomorrow.

Sounds like Lyon are having a bit of a meltdown in the aftermath.

Get French Football News tweeted a thread of events:
Breaking | President Aulas announces that Bruno Genesio would have been offered a new 2-year contract IF Lyon qualified for the Coupe de France final & for the Champions' League. They DIDN'T qualify for the CdF final tonight.

New deal for Bruno Genesio is currently off the table & Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas will make a decision at the end of the season.

Situation that Jean-Michel Aulas has created allows him to assess the manager market between now & the end of the season: Lyon are 7 points clear in their currently Champions' League place. Ramy Bensebaini's goal has stopped Bruno Genesio's contract extension - incredible.

Lyon manager Bruno Genesio in the same press conference now refusing to comment on if he would accept a new contract if President Aulas re-offers him one at the end of the season: "As you said, I am a politician." What a club.

Bruno Genesio has had to sit next to President Aulas in this press conference & listen to how he failed to meet the initial objectives for a contract extension - this is a total humiliation. What if this was Aulas' way of forcing the manager out?

Bruno Genesio continues to insinuate in the SAME press conference that he doesn't want the extension now after all: "I am going to leave the club like I found it. In the Champions' League."

Sources close to the Lyon dressing room this evening tell Get French Football News that "nobody knows" what is going on with Bruno Genesio's contract/future.

    All rather unseemly.

I'm not convinced Genesio is the man to take Lyon to the level they want to be at but I don't think he deserves that. He gets a tough time from the Lyon fanbase as well.

So it turned out as PSG win 3-0, though the last two goals were from the 85th minute onwards and Nantes by then were down to ten men so it sounds like Nantes didn't disgrace themselves?

Two Ligue 1 games tonight: Montpellier beating struggling Guingamp 2-0 to move 7th. Looked like Andy Delort played great based on the highlights. And Coupe de la Ligue champs Strasbourg thrashed Reims 4-0 to go 9th as Reims stay 6th. The margin of that victory surprised me and when I saw the goals they were extremely well taken (the last one was a pen). Strasbourg in good spirits ahead of their next game - away to PSG.

Not disgraced at all, nope. Time for a rant, but... it's difficult enough playing PSG away without a totally inept refereeing performance favouring them, never mind with it.

He's had a shocker, some really baffling decisions, but the worst was first half when Coulibaly turned Thiago Silva inside out and got goalside, and was blatantly taken down, caught on the inside of his leg. Referee was happy enough to consult VAR for two PSG penos, why not this?

I mean, it's likely PSG would have went on to win the tie anyway.. but the game could well and should be level at 1-1 going towards half time, and we were giving as good as we were getting.

France Football gave the ref's performance a 2/10. Sums it up.

Anyway, boring end to the season ahead. Couple more wins and we should be staying up and looking forward to another grim 2020...

Bordeaux beat Marseille 2-0 tonight. Kamano and de Preville with the goals. Not a huge shock since OM haven't won there since 1977. Marseille now stay fifth, 8 points behind Lyon in the final CL place - who also have a game in hand. They could even end up missing out on the Europa League at this rate.

Think Marseille need a coach next season. Rafa Benitez would be very interesting there. French media are claiming he's interested in a move to Ligue 1 but it could be BS. Laurent Blanc perhaps another that might be tempted.

    Some big results today.
    Lyon 1-3 Dijon
    Amiens 2-2 Saint-Etienne
    Angers 3-3 Rennes
    Guingamp 1-1 Monaco
    Nimes 2-0 Caen

Awful result for Lyon as they blow a 1-0 lead over Dijon - who started the day in last place. Dijon now climb to the relegation promotion play-off place in 18th.

Saint-Etienne weren't able to make the most of Lyon's loss and almost lost to 17th place Amiens, despite the fact Amiens played over an hour with ten men. They needed a 95th minute equaliser from Remy Cabella. They're now 6 points off the final CL spot.

Guingamp were seconds away from moving into the relegation/promotion spot but a Jovetic equaliser means instead they are bottom. Caen meanwhile stay 19th after conceding two late goals in the 85th and 94th minute.

Angers vs Rennes looks the game of the round with Jeff-Reine Adelaide getting a brace for the home side - one of which a late equaliser in stoppage time - with Hatem Ben Arfa getting a brace for the visitors.

Televised games tomorrow on BT are Reims vs Lille, Nice vs Montpellier and the evening game of PSG vs Strasbourg. The first game interests me most as if Lille beat Reims they'll move 7 points clear of Lyon in second place which is significant since only first and second in Ligue 1 gets you into the group stages of the Champions League. The team that finishes third face a play-off tie (unless as happened last season the Europa League winner has already qualified and doesn't require the spot).

    Teams for Reims vs Lille:
Reims XI: Mendy; Foket, Engels, Abdelhamid, Baba; Romao, Chavalerin; Zeneli, Dingome, Cafaro; Dia.

Lille XI: Maignan; Celik, Jose Fonte, Soumaoro, Kone; Thiago Mendes, Thiago Maia; Pepe, Ikone, Bamba; Remy.

Mendy's been one of the best keepers in the league this season so looking forward to how he fares against one of the league's best attacks. Zeneli's been in good form too. Hopefully some fireworks from Pepe, Ikone and Bamba as well.

Game is on BT Sport Extra 2 from 2pm.

Half-Time: 0-0 at the break. Mendy made a good save to deny Remy.

If Lille fail to win and PSG beat Strasbourg tonight, Paris will be confirmed champions. I'd like to see Leao on for Remy.

1-0 Lille. Great header by Jose Fonte from Thiago Mendes' corner.

Reims equalise through substitute Oudin. Lille have ten minutes to find a goal if they want to delay PSG's party tonight.

Full-Time and it ends 1-1 between Reims and Lille. Mendy made some good saves but Reims had their moments too so a draw was a fair outcome.

It means PSG can secure the title with a win tonight over Strasbourg. Had Lille won tonight then it would have been nicely set up for Lille vs PSG next Sunday. A pity.

Good win for Vieira's Nice as they beat Montpellier 1-0 to move above them into 7th. Toulouse also beat Nantes by the same score.

Here are the teams for PSG vs Strasbourg with Paris knowing a win wraps up the title tonight.
PSG XI: Buffon; Dagba, Silva, Kimpembe, Kurzawa; Alves, Paredes, Verratti, Bernat; Nkunku, Choupo-Moting.

Strasbourg XI: Sels; Lala, Martinez, Mitrovic, Caci, Carole; Sissoko, Prcic, Goncalves; Da Costa, Ajorque.

Looking at this team you'd be forgiven for thinking Tuchel doesn't want to win it tonight. Mbappe on the bench along with Draxler. Aside from Verratti there's nothing for Strasbourg to fear from that side. You'd still fancy a home win but hopefully Laurey's side can make a game of it. I'll say a Paris win by two goals. Mbappe probably off the bench to get one too.

Game is on BT Sport 2 from 8pm.

1-0 PSG. Choupo-Moting finishes Dagba's cross. Paredes with a lovely ball in the build up.

1-1! Da Costa finishes a nice ball by Carole after a good break.

Choupo-Moting has just had the worst miss in the history of association football.
