Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

When that kiddie got attacked, someone asked; " Where / How on earth do they get their hands on this stuff?! "

Two or three peeps mentioned specialist suppliers, in one or two towns.

Well, I have a Belfast sink, the over flow of which blocked. I tried ramming a wire down it. No good. Googled it. The experts all said; " For fat? Caustic Soda. For organic matter? Acid based drain cleaner. "

Okay. No fat ever went down there. Off into town. Very small, two street, rural town. Into the Provisioners. " Drain cleaner, please? ". And I'm shown a hip high shelf, full of various products.

I picked one. Glanced at the back label: " Contains 95 / 97% Pure Sulfuric Acid " €10.00. No questions asked. 500ml of the stuff in my pocket.

A dash sorted my over flow. Rest is now locked in my ammo safe. Scary stuff!

That is how 'They' get their hands on it.

    This is not news.

Also, don’t carry it in your pocket. That stuff will sting if the container ruptures.

Was, to me. Will be to the person who asked.

And, yes; I walked twenty yards with it in my pocket. That was unpleasant. On the way home, it was placed, securely cradled in the back of the van.

    Horrible stuff.

Sorry, Deco; Ye slipped in there. I should have addressed DT ;)

As it is, before we get two pages of " Anyone would know that  "?

I didn't. Nor did this person, who this thread is really referencing:
How do these people get access to these acids.. genuine question.

Funny how so few responded to Them.

Thankfully acid attacks are still relatively uncommon on this side of the Irish sea. Utterly disgusting crimes whose perpetrators should die roaring.
