How strict are security at gigs that require ID?

    At gigs that require ID to be presented (Such as the upcoming Arctic Monkeys gig). How strict are security with that? Like if someone bought a resold ticket.

    I've never heard of any actual checks in Ireland. E.g. there were no checks at Sheeran gigs in Ireland, even though it was announced. However they refused several thousand people entry to one of his gigs in Germany:

    Radiohead was strict for the first hour with the early arrivals. They got a bit overwhelmed I think as people were arriving in bigger and bigger numbers.

    People tend to arrive en masses just as the band is starting so it's sometimes all in the timing
