Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Je suis sous contrat avec Man Utd. Il y a eu des petits trucs avec le coach. La relation est toujours pareille. On a des objectifs en comment. On veut beaucoup gagner. Tant qu'on ne me voit pas avec le maillot de Barcelone, c'est que je suis à Manchester".

I believe you are latching on to a poor translation, but there you go. The original in french quote with Man Utd spelt correctly.

The tv interview that was broadcast, with him speaking, like, in front of a camera. In real time, what did you use as an excuse for that one?

    CGI?

Ramos a real healthy footballer he likes a tossed Salah.

Is Shaw out for long or was it just a knock

    Of course he did interview...

But lads going, "omg he namechecked barca he has to go" is nonsense.

He was asked about barca and his answer was fine.

So it wasn't a bull**** quote then, he did say it. Great.

The posts shift now to, "sure he said it, but it's fine".

Yet you genuinely never seem to understand why you have this reputation for shifting goalposts and arguing nonsensical positions.

A head injury, he won't be out for long, probably misses the Watford game.

Before you move the posts I’m asking you, quite a simple question.. have you a link to back that up ??

  • It's a pity some people get all out of joint over him. They should knock that stuff on the head.

I not bothered with what Pogba says as he often contradicts himself , not the brightest lad . What does bother me is his bone lazy attitude on the pitch, not a patch on previous legends in midfield, has he even had a run of 3 games with 8/10 or even 7s. He is all too frequently A very average 5/10. So long as we get our money back when he does fcuk off.

He said it exactly as it was posted earlier, right there in the initial comment you quoted and responded to. You latched on to the person doing the translation mistyping it's to call it a bull**** quote.

    Ffs all you like.

You stated it was a bullsh1t quote. It's quite clearly been showed from a video that he did in fact say this. So your statement about it being a bullsh1t quote was false. The meaning and interpretation one can draw from the quote can vary and you can of course argue that it's a mountain of molehill. But you should really retract your statement that it was a bullsh1t quote as he has pretty much stated what everyone on the thread has stated so far stated.

(Nobody anywhere on this thread thinks he said Man DFU.)

Unsurprisingly the reality probably lies somewhere between these opposing stances but any sort of consensus is unlikely to be reached.

Bangkok makes a fair point saying the lack of context of the question makes it sound worse then it is but even with a leading question name checking Barca, Pogbas answer was not ideal. It may have been some form of humour that got lost in translation but he should probably be avoiding that possibility at the moment.

Agree. Once Utd get the money back couldn’t care less. He’s been very very underwhelming and that’s being kind

    New day, new quotes...

Pogba: "I'm under contract with Man DFU. There were little things with the coach. The relationship is always the same. We have goals. We want to win a lot. As long as I'm not seen with the Barcelona jersey, I'm in Manchester. "

that was what was originally posted...

they are the answers to 2 or 3 questions all put together and its fairly clear thats what it is.

The post you quoted has the full french too. You are being deliberately misleading by leaving that part out which is absolute bull**** tbh.

You quoted it, you can't pretend you didn't see it. And oh copy pasted that bit so as not to have to directly link back to the post. Ridiculous carry on

French english whatever. Its still the answer to a few questions just thrown together.

If he was asked directly about Barca and he replied with that response I'd have no real issue with it. Not the first time I've ever seen a reply of a similar Ilk from anyone.

The sooner he's gone the better for me but not for that reason. The reason I want him gone is the whole team is built around him and he still isn't arsed. Whoever scouted him and couldn't identify his obvious weaknesses after months and months of watching him I want gone too!!

In your newly positioned goalposts opinion yeah.

Nothing again about why you are deliberately misleading of course.

You could replace Pogba with plenty of average midfielders in the league and it wouldn’t make much of a difference to be honest, our win % is the same with and without Pogba and I don’t think that would change if he was gone for good. His performances since he has arrived have been admissible to an extent, if you forget his 89 million fee and 250k plus a week wages, a consistent 5/10 for the 2 years he has been here just isn’t good enough, and that is before taking into account the ridiculous statements he has been making in the last few months. He isn’t good enough to put up with this.

No wonder Fellaini was holding us for ransom when his own performances since he has arrived have probably been on par with the “world class” Paul Pogba.

Pogba is going, janurary probably not, id be suprised if he does. Janurary is mega money, 200 mill at least, well bangkok wouldnt dis agree there.
Next summer get rid, good luck, 'player is no bigger than the badge' and he certaintly isnt.
Take what the big bucks thinks he so worth

Digs from other teams and within will happen, but anyone who watches football knows this guy has not performed no matter what way its span.
Off with him and best of luck to the lad,
But he didnt perform here end off.

Player of some random month and player of some second rate competition which we got an easy draw in is nothing.

He's a disruptive force which is not welcome, we'll get a some1 else, who doesnt have the media around him and all the social media bells and whistles.

Theres plenty other players in this league who have performed better game to game than pogba has.

Stats are bull****, player can have a shocking season, play 2 assist in 1 game against a nothing team and bam stats are up.

Its bull****, bangkok your loyalty sèems to be more to pogba than utd

That's how a professional deals with rumours about their future, not the eyelid fluttering bullshyt that Pogba has been up to.

A step in the right direction, let Woodward concentrate on the commercial side which he knows about and stay away from the football end which should be left to actual football people.

If and when it happened happens it'll be a shame pogbas gone but it just didn't work out, it makes a big Malinkovic-Savic sized hole in midfield. If that comes through I reckon we'll be better, Serbs and united seem to be a dream match

It seems we are trying to fix the shambles of the last 6-8 years anyway, a transfer specialist, do we not already have one of those? If Woody and the board have been making the decisions it’s no wonder we have been left behind on the football end.

Appointing one of those and a DOF would give me some optimism, and if they are going to give him the funds to compete Mourinho should be the man in there because he is the best we will get.

there is also the issue of playing good football and why are so many of our players playing so poorly.

Sanchez has been so bad since joining us, lindelof looks a lost boy and Bailly seems to have lost his mojo. martial and rashford have also regressed

I read the transfer specialist as a Data Analyst, as opposed to a scout themselves.

I feel like the phrase "many cooks spoil the broth" is becoming apt.

There is someone for every little thing and that increased the chances of miscommunication.
