I don't think u'll ever see that at United,
Far to professional , City or Chelsea maybe United no chance,

They did it to Moyes !

Have to say,its amazing to see Keano in that number 16 shirt again, for United!

    I've heard it all now.
What other midfielder would you compare Pogba to ?
He is like Gerrard in many way but obvioulsy not as effective as Gerrard,
You couldn't play either in a 2 man field, boith only effect a game going forward, both let people run off them both cause mangers headaches to get there talent into the team ,
Gerrard played CM first ,a season right wing for Rafa ,left wing for England, AM behind Torres , Holding role under Rodgers , Mangers always tried to shoe horn him into a team,

    Lol

Could be proven wrong of course but in the first 10 games last season we had a good few 4-0 wins. For whatever reason from the Liverpool game at Anfield onwards we became very functional and from then on we stopped creating the chances we did in the early part of the season

Most of those games we nicked an early goal and managed to hit a few goals on the counter late on, the problem happens when you cant get the early goal teams continue to sit back and try catch us on the break.

This season we seem more aggressive about getting that first goal when at 0-0

Our old striker giuseppe Rossi has tested positive for a banned substance found in eye drops.

Poor guy has had a tough time with all the injuries over the last number of years

Yes you are correct, we had already scored 17 league goals at same stage last season.

    Correct decision.

Pogba's behaviour in the media has been very poor.

  • Iv actually compared him on here before to a bad Gerrard in his style
I say a bad one as I don't think he will ever have the end product that Gerrard had ,he also doesn't have the intensity of a Gerrard although Pogba he is more skilful , Gerrard just had more of a drive to him ,
I defo see why you make the comparison,

    Wow

    Wow

It was badly phrased but I don't think there is much wrong in what he said. Gerrard and Pogba are/were very similar but Gerrard put in the effort even when the tactics didn't suit his strengths (especially considering he seen his strengths as different to all of the managers he played his best stuff under).

Oh, ah sure the media don't need any input from United at this point (other than Pogba who really is the gift that keeps on giving to them, then getting pissy that he his words are being "twisted")

Beyond that just treat them as you would any other gossip, its all just noise really.

This is the 3rd incident from this season alone involving the 2 of them at each other that I can remember. It's only September.

Still think it's a media agenda?!?

In his programme notes for Tuesday's game with Derby, Mourinho said he was unhappy with some members of his squad.

"[The game against Wolves was] an important lesson; a lesson that I repeat week after week after week, a lesson that some boys are not learning," he said.

"Every team that play Manchester United are playing the game of their lives, and we need to match that level of aggression, motivation and desire - 95% isn't enough when others give 101%."

Probably the agent but Pogba just seems to relish the limelight. If only he put as much effort into his performances ON the pitch.

Sooner his clients are gone, the better. Leaks and taking the piss out of the club in public, ridiculous state of affairs.

Well on the bright side the reserves should get a little bit better

Club needs to show some stones and back the manager.

“The players were happy with that decision and the reasons behind the manager’s decision,” the source said

From the Guardian article apparently. That's one good thing at least, doesn't seem to be players vs manager. Hopefully he's on his own and phased out.

How do you know he leaked it?

    As an aside from #PogCircus

Hopefully we can get David May coaching the young lads on penalties instead of Nicky Butt :P

If true this will be the start of the fallout with mourinho and the squad

You would have thought that would have happened already from your posts? Very odd...

Anyway, if true it is certainly one of the best things to happen for all parties.

Pogba isn't giving the interviews to benefit the team. He's doing it to benefit himself.

Meanwhile, the other players don't have a Barca lifeboat ready to go if Jose takes a disliking to them.

Ya jose leaked it to bring more negative attention to his job, when he could have just given the Valencia the captaincy and moved on quitely.

    Fcuk Pogba at this stage.

If he was a player the likes of Messi or Ronaldo then there could be some slack given but considering the sub standard and often lazy performances we have been treated to by him over the last couple of seasons he can gtfo.

    1. Arrive to a popular reception.
    2. Overachieve in the first two seasons.
    3. Become sour towards club.
    4. Pick a fight with staff and/or players.
    5. Appeal to the fanbase as players turn. Praise fan loyalty.

    6. Insist that everyone else is to blame when results nosedive.
    7. Get sacked.

Only consolation I take from this disaster of a season is that we're at least nearing the end of the soap opera.

Hopefully the mercenaries Pogba and Sanchez follow him out the door.

Funny thing is Pogba along with shaw have probably been our 2 best outfield players this season
