At the same time those two are out numbered, easily. Very hard for them to move into space cause they are the only two players in forward positions for West ham to worry about. Easy to mark.

Lukaku getting on end of what little is happening at least

Hope the players know what the formation is because doesn't feel like a lot of people in this thread have any idea.

Martial looks like a man who isn't trying on purpose. Doesn't want to be at the club.

I think the evidence in front of us suggests that they don't.

Lindelof didn’t even look up there, that’s desperate.

Another nail in Jose's time at utd

No we're not, McTominay is playing RB today

He's a very central right back if that's the case... And has he even crossed the halfway line yet?

Unlucky? We're allowing them space to take speculative shots from the edge of the area, we're reaping what we sow.

No, it's not. West ham have been the better side. They've controlled most of that half and we've looked as rubbish as we are.

Ed and Patrice sitting together looking like they are modelling some new brand of shades.

He'll be sacked during the upcoming international break. Quote me on it.

A very forgettable half of football.

I know we are but I meant unlucky in a sense that he took a shot that was going nowhere and it deflected in top corner

New manager walks in wearing them too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,483 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

Sack Jose. No evidence he is going to arrest this slide that's been in evidence since the end of last season.

Players are clearly culpable as well, and a bunch need to be replaced but zero faith Jose will get the best out of any replacements.

3rd season and Jose still doesn't have what could be clearly identified as a first choice side, formation or style.

This is embarrassing and something needs to be done, fast, cause top 4 will be out of reach soon at this rate.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

Wonder what Jose is gonna say at half time. He looked exasperated after that second goal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,784 ✭✭✭jimmytwotimes 2013

Christ tis shocking stuff to watch. No real pace in midfield to turn West Ham if we win ball off them when they commit, really awful stuff. Jose in territory when a manager get boot now. Our turnover of managers, if it happens, suggests deeper problems.

not suprised by this..our defence is so bad..lindelof seriously.

game is up as utd are not a team who can score 3 goals a game. over 3 games they might get 3 goals..

Agree. It's year 3 not week 3. This is ****e. Rather watch attacking football if we are going to lose every week.

Thing is even if we sacked Jose tonight and brought in a Zidane or whatever would make little or no difference.

3 different managers in last hand full of years now and been very little if any general long term improvement.

You can fault all 3 managers of course but some of the players in fact a lot of thrm just aren't fit to be playing for Manchester United.

Ultimately Ed Woodward needs to leave his position as he has brought all the actors in this soap opera to the club, he's responsible end of story.

    United have offices in London.

Zidane was in London this week.

Zidane linked to the roma job this week.

I reckon something is happening there.

He'd have some job on his hands having been used to Real :)

You've been unlucky with both goals but it was a very rudderless first half from United imo. Get one back early and you'll rattle them.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Woodward recruits fan favourite to go to match with...smart

Didn't Evra have beef with mourinho back in the day?

And he was also waxing on about Pogba in is crazy videos during the summer

Glazers won't sack him, making them too much money on commercials.

Best we can hope for there is a new position (DoF) to somewhat remove Woodward from the football side, which I think will come around the same time as Jose is replaced whenever that is.

Didn't Jose say that it would cost a fortune to sack him ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,137 ✭✭✭✭TheDoc

    Death knell for Mourinho.

Team is clueless, no idea what it’s doing and there is zero intensity. No pressure on the ball. People dropping off and sitting compact but still leaving gaps everywhere.

McTominay in a back three ? A midfield getting swarmed. An attack with no movement or purpose.

He needs to be sent packing to save some pride from this car crash season.

Second half will tell everything here. If the players don’t break their bollox and start pressing the ball and really putting pressure on that means there’s no reaction and he needs firing.

Nah, we're going to put in a limp performance second half. This is a ordinary West ham side but we're so desperately bad we'd lose to a Sunday league side. Crisis club United, yet again.

If Jose goes, Woodward also needs to be moved off football decisions.

It wud be three managerial appointments and no progress made.
