Lindelöf and bailly were appalling last time out. Deserve to be dropped. You need to show some reason to deserve starting.

    Bailly did deserve dropping.

And when Jones or Smalling make the next mistake the calls will be for them to be dropped as well.

Its a merry go round in a position that demands a consistent partnership, Jose needs to suck it up and stick with a pairing, whichever one it may be.

Odds Mr. H ignores this topic now? Or tries to muddy the waters with some rubbish reasoning as to how that conversation on fees is different from this one.

    was 42 mil euro.

It was 150 million, no more, no less.

Jose spent 150 million since January, you said it so it must be true.

Can't expect everyone to understand even things as simple as transfer fees and wages are different things. It's clearly beyond some people, like yourself.

    See now your getting petty.

My point has always been from my first post here, that a player never costs "nada", as one poster said sanchez cost.

Yes of course reported fees do not include wages most of the time. Where have i mentioned different?

I said the wages do cost a club and that its ridiculous to say a player cost a club nothing while paying 20 million a year for them. Jesus even falcao "cost nothing" even though ye paid 25 million in wages for him.

But i guess thats "clearly beyond some people"

Sanchez cost nothing in the same way you said VVD cost £75m.

You're wrong on one of them. Or pulling shìte from your hoop.

Falcao cost 500k a week to United?

    Edit: In wages

This money/wages/counting pennies talk is the most tedious shít I've seen in this thread in a long time.

You obviously don't hang about for the daily list jose's replacement sessions

[Mohamed Bouhafsi] Anthony Martial is at the heart of an internal power struggle between José Mourinho and Ed Woodward. The manager wants to sell him but the board refuses. Martial willing to remain at Manchester United until Mourinho gets sacked.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭Quandary

I think we might see Herreras main job tonight being to keep Erikson out of the game.

Might help explain the wide player being sacrificed for an extra midfielder.

Hope we see the team putting in a proper shift in this game or it will be more than a little worrying considering how abysmal the effort was against Brighton.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,473 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

In fairness Bailly was fantastic last season and should be still in the team regardless of one poor game. Lindelof is still looking abysmal.

Bailly/Smalling would be my choice. Jones too error prone.

You say this, despite the fact that Smalling makes far more mistakes than Jones.

Lindelof had a fine game against Leicester too and a great WC. This reactionary stuff won't help the team develop or grow.

Very different looking team here so far seem lot more up for it.

Fred's chasing tackle perfect example there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,369 ✭✭✭Rossi IRL

Well none of us guessed Herrera playing CB

    WTF

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

Is that a coordinated press I see?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

Just why the **** can't we play with this tempo against the smaller teams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,236 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

When you see a ball being rolled into Lukaku, it's 50/50 that his second touch will be a tackle.

More confidence in him heading it or chesting it on to someone.

Lukaku looks really lacking in sharpness.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭Your Airbag

Great our striker can't score open goals now 🀣

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,236 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

That's three sitters in three weeks now.

Can’t be missing that Lukaku !!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,481 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

God damn it Rom, you HAVE TO BE BETTER. I love the guy, but sometimes he's just so disappointing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,474 ✭✭✭✭Zeek12

    Got to score that!

His finishing is so flakey! If he can improve that area his game he would score serious amount.

Happy with way game is going so far though.

    Dude are you alright?

Read the message I said I've said it before so I'm not basing it off one chance maybe read a message before you reply good man

    3 CB's
    2 WB's

Is it a diamond shape then with Matic DM, Fred and Pogba CM and Lingard AM?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,481 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

Shaw goes the length of the pitch and at the point he looks up only Lukaku is in the box. Need much better support runs to the attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

I think if we played the top 6 teams every weekend we be grand!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,481 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

Just fck off Valencia you absolute turd. Just wasting attack after attack. Shooting from there, with players in support and in the box? WHY?

You think he could cross it

Some garbage posted here this evening. It's not difficult to understand really, the only players who get wages added to the fee reported are Utd players, everyone else do not get paid

    Hococop wrote: »

At least if he'd crossed it we might have got a throw off it after he hit the defender.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,502 ✭✭✭Your Airbag

Our front 3 were pressing high the first 10 mins. Looks like that's all jose was willing to do of that, dropped right off now except lingard. Looks like he's been instructed to press as much as he likes, he'll be gassed early enough if he keeps as it. Jose hoping he forces an error before that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,006 ✭✭✭beno619

Looks super confident. Really happy with the start he's made this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Look at the first 20 minutes tonight and you can see clearly we have not got a manager problem.

When the players show some intent, make some intelligent runs and don’t give the ball away needlessly we do well, shock fcuking horror.

So did Mourinho have them doing “attacking drills” in training this week?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,236 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

We just shìt ourselves under any kind of press.

    Ffs Matic.

    Well done smalling

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

Smalling Jones looking hell of a lot more solid then Bailly and Lindelof so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,241 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

    Brilliant tackle

  • Registered Users Posts: 754 ✭✭✭Andrew Beef

United are playing well. The idea that they’re not playing for the manager or that they’ve given up is laughable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,474 ✭✭✭✭Zeek12

    Lingard's distribution is really poor

Keeps putting us under needless pressure with those rubbish passes
