Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I never said once it was bad he asked to drop off after trying to force an early mistake or that he asked one of our younger players to keep it up. It's an interesting tactic instead of sitting back for the entire game but you continue reading into it how you please.

    He reads between the lines

Anybody who tries to blame this on Mourinho either hasn’t watched the game, or is an idiot.

The players are not good enough

Who signed most of the players?

    Who trains the players?

Who sets out the tactics and game plan?

Who decides not to have a player on the goal post defending a corner?

The excuse makers are really a strange breed. If you look at our defensive organisation trying to stop counter attacks and team shape at times and see nothing wrong with the coaching then you just can't be taken seriously.

Hopefully it's the last time I see Phil Jones in a utd shirt

Awful decision to have him start in a game like this

    Wtf is Jones made of!

When does coaching come into this? What does he need...to spend £300 million more?

Easy to blame the players, but why does one of the best coaches in history get off scott free?

Well that would put him on par with Pep so yes, and even then City had a better squad to begin with.

We're all over the place. I think that team did incredibly well to finish 2nd last season.

He can only coach what he has.

We fought well in the first half but gave up some great chances with terrible defending.

Punished for the continuation of that rubbish in the second half.

Either the players aren't good enough, the manager isn't doing enough, or both are true at the same time.

Do Woodward and the glazers truly care though? I have to think not because this was utterly predictable.

This is ridiculous. Cash in now and leave it at that. He can barely string a match together.

Ah here leave Phil alone lads. A better manager he'd be the worlds best.

Don't forget your playing a team with no new signing this summer

    You can't miss that.

    Alderweireld with some amazing defending.

    See that, Woodward?

Once Woodward is keeping the money coming in for the owners he can throw all the blame on the manager.

Can see this being 2-2, Spurs have to hang on for 30 minutes,

30 mins to fkic it up

Did not know Jose was a leftie, or can he kick with both feet?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 828 ✭✭✭JaMarcus

A clinical striker would have helped. Would have been 1-0 up against Brighton and at least 1-0 up here too had Lukaku taken the absolutely sitters presented to him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

Again, how is this our defence?

    That's a joke...why Lindelof

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,136 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

Jesus **** off Lindelof just leave now.

If I was DeGea I would of punched him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,225 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

The level of centre back here is astonishing, in the worst possible way.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭limnam

    fck me.

I've tried to defend lind as much as possible but fck fcking me.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 17,638 ✭✭✭✭bangkok

    Linde lol.

    Useless

Ed is in the stands. Jose is on the side line and has the team all week at Carrington. Your talking out your hoop.

    How did kane miss that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,843 ✭✭✭GSPfan

Pity. Was enjoying the attitude of the team in the first half. Herrera and Matic were not good today. The worst thing is the fact Jose abandoned it all and has now gone to the usual hoof ball tactics immediately.

Sad that I’m numb to it now and not that bothered.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,107 ✭✭✭thegreengoblin

Holy Christ on a stick, Lindelof wouldn't get into my Under 8s team.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 828 ✭✭✭JaMarcus

Bailly and Lindelof last week, Jones today, Lindelof with a horrendous 5 minutes so far.

It's an absolute disgrace what we're doing at the back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,461 ✭✭✭✭Zeek12

    How did Kane miss??

    This is embarrassing

  • Registered Users Posts: 557 ✭✭✭shane.

This really is shocking, it’s clear mourinho has lost the players or he’s just sapped every last bit of confidence with that moany face!

    Lindelof, Smalling, Jones.

Not in a million years can any football person believe they're good enough for Utd.

    Wow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 46,329 ✭✭✭✭Mitch Connor

Doesn't matter how bad our CB's are, Jose simply has to stick with them. What type of club looks to replace players who have proven themselves not good enough? You buy a player they are first choice til you leave.

How many more managers do we need to go threw before the players take the blame?
