I am hoping to buy early next year with my partner. In addition to savings, part of my deposit will also come from an employment bonus of €30k euro which was paid in a lump sum recently. They may ask for a letter saying it was a bonus and not a loan that has to be repayed

Although it's probably included on your p60

Your main focus will now be 6 months showing rent going out of your account and some monthly savings

Say away from strip clubs casinos they don't like that

Don't forget to factor 5k on top of deposit for stamp duty solicitor fees, deeds
