Anyone that shouts Get in the hole should be removed immediately.its so annoying.

People are shouting this now at rugby matches for kicks at goal.

Looks like we could be in for a great final round this evening.

Lowry and Thomas birdie the first. Hopefully they can pull each other along

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

And another birdie at the second. Still haven’t seen any of his shots though!!

Commentators said it but it’s down on website as saying it was a par. Same for Thomas who was only 6 foot away

Some shot by Tiger in the first

Yeah it was a par. pity!

Feck sake, so annoying when that happens, surely it's not that difficult to get it right?

The commentators and tv crews are only interested in Woods and the americans like Thomas at the top of the leaderboard. Lowry's shots are only showed rarely.

While I can understand that to a point, if someone is as close to the lead as Lowry their shots should be shown imo

For me this tournament has been Tiger's best performance of the year tee to green. Missed a tonne of chances on the greens yesterday in particular.

I'm more convinced than ever that he'll win again.

Plenty of birdies from the chasing pack but think Koepka is just too good to not win this.

Tiger :). His iron play is outrageous

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,378 ✭✭✭HighLine

Wow... Tiger's irons have been so good this week. Nearly holes his tee shot to the par 3 3rd.

Thats the biggest cheer on a course in years.

If he didn’t bulk up so much in the gym I’d agree

That nonsense is the reason he won’t win. He obviously has major mental issues putting

A bit of momentum gone from woods.

    Too wild even with Irons

    Great save for Brooks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Big save from Koepka especially when Thomas just made a balls of the 9th

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,366 ✭✭✭DellyBelly

This is great stuff. Shane really has a chance here

Seems to be posts in each individual player's thread... makes more sense to keep them here IMO if it's related to this tournament.

Anyway.... Tiger continues to be absolutely brutal off the tee. It's a shame, could have definitely been up at the top otherwise.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,515 ✭✭✭munsterlegend

Shame for Lowry. Always seems to follow a birdie with a bogey.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

What a shot again from Tiger. Getting fair jammy though having no trees in his way with all these wild tee shots

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,798 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

Nuts by Thomas, fairly clocked a guy on the head

    Woods channeling his inner Seve.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Vintage Tiger. How is he 3 under for that front 9!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,798 ✭✭✭✭Mushy

    Insane up and down.

How am I supposed to go to bed now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

And then smashes down the fairway in 10 where he hasn’t hit it all week.

Lowry doesn't show often on Sundays.

No stopping Koepka by the looks of things. Cracking shot from the sand

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,926 ✭✭✭davo10

I know Scott has dropped off since 2014 and I haven't seen much of him, but that long putter stroke looks very similar to the anchored type I thought had been banned, the top must be very close to his chest, if it hits, is that a penalty?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,366 ✭✭✭DellyBelly

Lowry you beauty. What a putt

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That the boy Shane. Pity about Pieters drive. A lot at stake for him.

Trees have been in his way, he has just been slinging the ball left and right around them. (not in a single shot :))

JT is having a bit of a crumble

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,099 ✭✭✭TheMilkyPirate

That's the turning point. Tiger wins this
