Late Mortgage payment

Due to various reasons i know for a fact that my next mortgage payment (direct debit) will bounce and I won't be in a position to pay it until the end of the month. My question is, should I inform the bank (Ulster bank) or deal with the consequences after? Many thanks

what have you to lose by calling them in advance? Call them now and let them know..they might not help..but you never know
