BMX Question

Hopefully someone on here can give me advice, I'm a road cyclist but I'm looking at getting a BMX, which is odd because I'm 34! Anyway long story short I used to ride a BMX a lot and owned a few but a long time ago, most of my bikes were Mongoose but so much has changed with them now.

Whats the best place to look for a BMX, I'm currently thinking of these two but they have no front brake, this seems to be normal though nowadays?

What do you plan to do with it - race/street/dirt jump/ramp/etc. I'm not an expert on BMX bikes these days but it might be worth calling in to a shop and getting advice from them (and buying from them afterwards) as bike setups have changed a lot from the old days.
