Any tips for a left hander? My young lad is left handed and it can be a bit awkward. Simple things like buttering toast are a challenge to teach and it will probably only get worse when he starts writing.

Make sure you don't give him any gel or very inky pens to write with. He'll smudge the whole page. Bic pens are grand in my experience.

It used to be thought that if a single child was born left handed that they were a twin and the other one died.
Twins are more likely to have one left handed than single kids.
