I've ordered parts from Alternate this year, they just give you a quote & adjusted VAT via email.

Unless you mean they're specifically not sending RTX cards here?

Dunno about now but I know at launch and the week or two following the 3080s they had showing as in stock weren't shipping outside Germany. May have changed though

Btw, undervolted my 3080 FE, immediately seeing a 10 degree difference in temps with little to no performance difference. It's absolutely mental.

I have mine at 1900mhz at 862mV. Drops power usage to around 220w, massively different temps (haven't seen it above 60c since) and only like 1-2 fps difference at 1440p ultra with RT on in Watchdogs Legion.


I have a very high airflow case with 3 120mm fans in the front and 1 in the back though.

Dam just missed a 3080 Fe on scan got to payment entered credit card details secure payment everything done an error flashed up and poof gone...

Sure just got a 3070 Fe instead I'll take it

Was half thinking of buying a prebuilt system on Scan, I wonder would they prioritise 3080's for their prebuilt systems?

Anyone need a 3070?

My MSI Vertus (540 Sterling) just shipped on Amazon.

But I just bought an FE from Nvidia and don't want the Vertus anymore. I'll return it if I have to, but if anyone wants it happy to take cost or negotiate.

I had a Founders Edition 3080 in my basket on Scan UK and did the Guest checkout, not realising I could have went straight to paypal. In the few seconds it took to enter my guest details, stock was sold out by the time I went to pay I did manage to get a 3070 founders edition which will go into my smaller case. Not really interested in the 3090 at that price.

They are intermittently in stock on scans website. I've been watching them as I've been tempted to do the same but thought I'd give the FE one more go today. Once they get their next shipment in from Asus the prebuilts will pop back up as in stock.

got alert to scan fe drop earlier at 2:13pm

added to basket straight away
checkout via amazon pay so it has to login to that
double checked addr and card payment
hit pay and it stalls and does not seem to complete
shows up as out of stock.. no order confirm

2:19pm - email from amazon saying payment pending
3:04pm - email from scan saying order placed with invoice num
4:07pm - email from scan saying payment processed
5:03pm - email from amazon saying payment processed
7:00pm - email from scan saying order picked

last step with scan is dispatched, im not quite sure i beleive it, the order does not show in my scan order history..

My 3080 FE paid for wednesday, shipped wednesday evening, arrived in Athlone Friday.

I'm still awaiting picking for a 3080fe from today's drop, says delivery estimated for Tues so fingers crossed!

I dropped him a couple of quid after I got mine, been invaluable to be fair to him. I had a couple of different alert yokes running on an old laptop at the same time and they're weren't near as good as his stuff

It wasn't his alerts that got me one in the end but to be fair they are very good. I gave him a few quid too for his efforts.
