Donegal coast town/village recommendation

    Doing a short weekend along the Donegal coast, can anyone recommend nice towns/villages to stay in for a Friday/Saturday night?
    Ideally want a place with a few nice bars and a bit of traditional music.

    Bunbeg/Derrybeg/Gweedore - Teach Hiudai Beag has a session every Friday night and there's a good amount of different pubs and eateries. Some spectacular beaches too and Mount Errigal looming above it all.

    +1 on this.

    I wouldnt be overly familiar with the individual watering holes but the North West of the county would be the place to head for some music, craic and scenery

    +1 on Ardara, great town, Nancy's is a great pub, loads of music on @ the weekend in most pubs in the town, Not far from Sliabh Liag, Great beaches in the area.
