Coleman out for Alonso. Took a -4 hit.

Morata looked decent last week. I'm holding out on Eriksen for another couple of weeks. He's been a great asset over the years, I don't want to turn my back on him just yet.

I've got him. He's one more chance for me after this week's hard game to do something. Worried about people saying he's playing a lot deeper so far this year and appears to have lost some set piece duties.

Aubameyang or Aguero for this game week? can't afford both.

If it's a choice between just those 2. I think Aubam outscores Aguero this week.

Is it worth the -4 to do the following:

    Coleman/Sane out
    Alonso/Pedro in

Chelsea have a great run of fixtures but im expecting Sane to be given gametime sooner rather than later

You could do Pedro in for Sane and then the following week Alonso in for Coleman?

Posted this in the wildcard thread also so please forgive me......

So folks i am currently on this any thoughts will play 352 although i think trying to decide between Ings or Arnie to bench might drive me mad each week

    Foster Etheridge
    Robertson Mendy Alonso Peltier AWB
    Ricky Micky Pedro Salah Bilva
    Aguero Ings Arnie

    .3 itb

If I was WC (and I'm thinking about it), I would look to Hamer as 4mil backup keeper, would replace Bilva (took up wing back position last week) and would go with 2 premium hitters. This is what I came up with

    Hennessey (Hamer)
Alonso, Mendy and then 3 4mil defenders (Bennett, AWB and Stankovic)
Hazard Mane Miki Richarlison (Bench Fodder 4.5mil)
    Aguero Aubameyang Ings

Good point though hamer was 4.5 but he is 4m.

Both Foster and Etheridge have rough fixtures thinking will keep Foster

Will take a look and see if i can get Auba presume fraser is the cheap mid if choice

    2 FT's available.

    1 FT this week

    Peltier -> Stankovic

Peltier rotation risk and anyway after this GW, 5 very difficult fixtures.

    Team for GW3:

    Ederson
    Robertson, Stankovic, Holebas
Ralls, Salah (c), Mané, Richarlison, Fernandinho
    Agüero, Kane

    Speroni, Hoedt, Kamara, Wan-Biss

Currently ranked 24k, best start ever, have a bad feeling about this weekend though.

    Will Stankovic keep his place?
Zanka is fit for selection now.

Think those selling Peltier for Stankovic will be in for a shock.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,672 ✭✭✭ScummyMan

    Doherty -> Alonso
    Sanchez -> Mkhi

Not fantastically happy with that, but ho hum.

I needed to offload him anyway with the run of fixtures he will have and wanted to bank another FT for next week.

If Stankovic starts, happy days, if not Hoedt will slot in for him.

Very little options in the 4mil defender range when I've gone heavy in MF and up front.

Did a -4 to get in Pedro, Mendy and ings for Coleman, jota and king.

    Leaves me with

    DDG
    Mee, Daniels, Mendy
    Miki, Ricki, Pedro, Salah
    Aguero, auba , ings

Should be good for a few weeks with these guys, nothing of note on the bench, cairney may get moved on next week if looking like another drop

I remember selling a lad the week after scoring a hat trick once...

    Once.

    Sell high, buy low :D

It's all part of my masterplan for the season!

    Why are people dropping Sessegnon?

Were his displays now quite impressive?

I think he may actually do well. But the answer is simple: others in his price bracket have started better, so people have jumped ship

Apparently 22,200 others have too

On the flip side 598,000 have transferred him in so, eh, good luck with that!

Madness to sell King and Lacazette to buy Mkhy and Wilson? I've already used my FT so it would cosr me -8. Bournemouth and Arsenal coverage seems essential - I've just got the wrong players. They've got to come good sometime, right? Right?

You can’t do that for -8. You are selling 2 strikers and buying 1 midfielder and one striker. There has to be a 3rd part of the transfer to balance it out.

Either way, no way I’d do it for a hit.

Thinking of doing Coleman, Gross, King to Alonso, Pedro and Ings for -4 hit. Leaves me with the below team which I think is nicely balanced. My only other worry is Firmino but want to give him one more game as he is playing Brighton. Anyone have any other suggestions?

    Foster
    Robertson Mendy Alonso
    Salah Pedro Ricky Mkhi
    Ings Aguero Firmino

    Fab - Cedric - Stephens - Wan-Bissaka

    Excellent point :-)

Been looking at the screen too long. Walking away now.

Coleman to 4M and roll a transfer. Leaves Gross there for next 2 good fixtures perhaps and gives you more options if Firmino needs shifting.

Ings could rise tonight so removing King gives you .9M

Head busted. This choice involves them playing every week.

    A - AWB, Ings, Aubameyang = 20.5m

    B - Alonso, Mkhi, Mitrovic = 20.2m
