    Wildcard activated

Sounds like the right thing to do.

Aguero, King, Stephens(Brighton), Mahrez, Doherty out.

Kane, Ings, Schneiderlin, Richarlison and Mendy in.

Not sure about Scneiderlin for how much game time he will get but for 4.5mill. he makes a better option than Stephens I think. .3mill in bank after changes to help change things about during the week but would be happy to leave as

    Ederson Begovic
Mendy, Shaw, Wan Bissaka, Alexander Arnold, Robertson
    Salah, Richarlison, Fraser, Neves, Schneiderlin
    Kane, Aubameyang, Ings

    Any advice on changes appreciated.

Might do Kenedy to Kante. Which is weird but he's getting so far forward.

    Cheers FFix saying tonight

Didn't know how reliable it is

Kante very far forward. Could be a very good option. Was hoping for Stephens to Kante but lacking 0.5m.
Any 4m defenders worth talking about to free up funds? Other than WB??

    51% on fpl stats

However I may need to monitor that cos I don't think he was anywhere near that a while ago...........

    Looking like this tomorrow evening.
    Davies to Alonso
    Austin to Ings

Unless I hear of a possible price change tonight as I have 0 ITB

I'd like to move Jota on for a cheaper option for a few weeks but 2 -8 hits in a row is a lot to take.

Id prefer to keep Davies but the only other defender I could sell is Peltier :P and then move Jota to a 4.5 Bench fodder.

Think I may have talked myself into another -8

    I'd line out like this

    DDG (Boruc)
    Davies-Shaw-Mendy-Alonso-Wan-Bissaka
    Salah-Pogba-Richie-Stephens-(Other 4.5 gentleman)
    Aguero-Firmino-Ings

Or I could just wildcard and do a general tidy up.

I like not really paying attention to FPL as much as other years.
    Playing loosey goosey. :)

King and barkley up for the chop will wait till after motd tonight to see who catches my eye but Madison and mitro 2 that spring to mind have 3m in the bank too

Thinking Azpi to Alonso, not sure why I went with him first!

I know who I want out (King, Jota, and possibly Sanchez or Aguero) but I'm not settled yet on who to bring in. Will see how tomorrow plays out anyway. 2FT, but 3 for a -4 looks to be on the cards.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,252 ✭✭✭COH

Hudson-Odoi (what was I thinking) looks like dropping tonight which is annoying as wanted to wait until after the City game to make any transfers...

    Have 2FT anf thinking

    Odoi > Kante
    King > Wilson/Ings

Have Cairney sitting there looking likely to drop at some stage but will cross that bridge when I come to it with a -4 if necessary could get Fraser in if I do King>Ings instead of Wilson

Madness to pull the trigger early? Got crushed by low team value last year and dont want a repeat of my poverty 2nd wildcard

Will wait until after motd, but considering the following for a -4, would prefer to wait until after tomorrow or Monday nights games but most likely would have to move on them tonight.

    King > Ings
    Jota > Fraser or Kante
    Holebas > Alonso

Never thought I'd be considering Kante, but from what I've been reading it looks like he may be worth thinking about.

Even when kante was in forward positions, he looked useless fpl wise. He just doesn't know what to do with the ball beyond the half way line.

Fair enough, same Kante then, just that he's getting a bit further forward?
Ryan Fraser is probably the better bet, not sure if I'll go ahead with transfers yet, a -4 is a bit of a risk with eight of my squad still to play this weekend

    This
His first chance should have been buried but it was an awful attempt
    Second not much better

He also moved back to DM for last 10/15 when Chelsea went on the rampage
I don’t care if he turns out to be yaya/Ramsey again it goes against everything I believe in FPL
    Just
    Can’t
    Do
    It

Kante's getting forward a lot and the timing of his runs is impressive. Here he is a fortnight ago in pre-season being told by Jorginho to get forward:

    https://twitter.com/Pass_to_Play/status/1026986417740763140

And there was a moment in the game today where McManaman was freaking out about him making a run like a centre-forward. I saw a stat today that he had more touches in the box for Chelsea than any other player. Considering Chelsea have some promising fixtures on the way, and with Hazard likely to get more game time, Kante doesn't necessarily need to develop a killer finishing ability. He just needs to time his run well and be able to pick out Hazard or Morata to hit the target.

I'm also mulling over bringing in either him or Fraser for next week.

He just needs to completely change his game at this stage of his career so !
His finish for the goal last week was hilarious
His 2 today were also poor

    It’s not in him
He might pick up a few assists just by being fitter up the pitch though
Unless of course he ends up going back to his own position

    2 transfers available.

Have gone Eriksen to Fraser with the 1st.

That's not asking much of him. Presumably Sarri agrees given what he's asking of him at the moment.

If he has more than a couple of assists and is still playing that advanced role by the end of September I’ll eat my hat !
Hazard and Kovacic not fit yet . Fabregas too
It’s needs must for me at the moment

    Looks like I might go:
Coleman & Bilva to Alonso & Pedro.
