The Aguero panic is over so it seems.

At least for another week, going to give Eriksen another week before considering moving him out

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,014 ✭✭✭✭titan18

    Made 3 transfers for a -4.

    Jota, Daniels and Wood out

    Fraser, Mendy and Ings in

Away to united next game. Either give him two weeks or get rid this week imo

    How about Pedro then...

That's now the way I'm leaning. Except with Mendy instead of Alonso, because I'd rather my City/Chelsea ratio be 3:1 rather than 2:2. Cheers :)

Although United are fairly awful it seems:D

Is there any competition for Hennessy at Palace? I need a 5.0 or less keeper and he has good fixtures

Is the fantasy website giving anyone else trouble? Won't load for me all day. Had an excellent week with Salah and van djik yet to play

    2 ft used.
    Bailly and B Silva out
    Alonso and Pedro in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Feels wierd using 2FTs on a Sunday evening, even more so considering the GW ain't over yet. But price rises and all that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,788 ✭✭✭Benimar

    Got 2FT.

Jota out to Mkhitaryan will be one.

The other is either King to Ings or DeGea to Ederson. The 2nd option looks a bit mad and involves a Man City defensive double up, but I’m currently spending 6m on a keeper who has conceded 10 of the last 14 shots he’s faced!

City’s next 5 are all CS possibilities.

What are people's thoughts on dilva?

Need to replace mahrez, was leaning towards mkhi but dilva looked good today and I'd fancy city to outscore every other team over the next 5 games. Dilva should be nailed on right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,460 ✭✭✭✭Green&Red

Drops have forced my hand and like Klopp I’ve gotten my business done early

    Cedric -> Schlupp
    Hudson Odi -> Mendy (Leicester)
    Jota -> Dilva

For a -4, leaving me with 1.1m in the bank

But I’m very excited about next week
    Foster v Palace H
    Schlupp v Watford A
    Mendy v Wolves A
    Shaw v Spurs H
    Dilva v Wolves A
    Pedro v Newcastle A
    Ricki v Bournemouth A
    Salah v Brighton H
    Firmino v Brighton H
    Aguero v Wolves A
    Mitrovic v Burnley H

Yeah, Vicente Guaita is there but Hennessey should be safe for the short term at least.

Lads have had an awful start bottom of all my pay leagues and got all my 50/50 calls wrong

Is below worth a minus 12 have 2ft

    Luiz/Cairney/Siggy/Jota/Laccazette out
    Alonso/Pedro/Ricky/Micky/Arnie in

Cairney, Siggy and Lacca all dropping tonight while Alonso & Pedro going up .5 swing

    Could do Mane/Ings over Micky/Arnie

Yeah I agree. This is exactly what your WC is for imo. If you need it, use it. I am taking the plunge myself as I really need 4 transfers and ideally 5, maybe more.

If he's that unhappy with his team he may as well wildcard. I wouldn't take a -12 if I had a wildcard available to me.

Have pulled the trigger early and used the money in the bank

    Bavies--> gomez
    Arnie --> aguero

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,612 ✭✭✭✭siblers

Probably Willian to Mikhi or King to Ings, not sure which one.

I agree I'd never go above -8 if I had a wildcard in hand.

    Gains 12 points though!

Either scale back to a -4 or WC in my opinion. Jota and Lacazette are your only two problems, the rest are fine and you are giving up 4 points just to save 0.1m.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,912 ✭✭✭kilburn

    Wildcard it is thanks folks

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,994 ✭✭✭c.p.w.g.w

Haven't played in a few years, can you wildcard just once or do you get second after the January Window?

You get one to use until the end of December (29th), then one after

Seriously thinking of abandoning the Fab/Foster strategy and just going all in on Ederson. West Ham do not look great at the back tbh. I know Fab gets save points a lot but still. The rotation circus of City is putting me off their mids big time so Ederson could be a safe-ish bet

Thinking of doing Zaha and Neves out for Pedro and Ings. What do you think?
Why is everyone selling Lacazette? 2 bad game weeks but arsenal have decent fixtures coming up. Their last 2 fixtures were terrible.

I'd keep zaha and neves myself

He didn't start either game, even a massive improvement in Arsenal's performance when he came on GW1 didn't earn him the start in GW2.

He might start next week, but why gamble on him when other strikers are sure to start

He played 15 minutes yesterday and his price is also sure to drop soon

    Beam me up Scotty.

Lacazette due to drop tonight as is Cairney, need to ship them both before price drops. Disappointed in Laca as I think when Emery decides both players on the pitch will be better for Arsenal, he'll come good (but sure what do I know!)

    Who to get?

    Ings & Alli

    or

    Zaha & Mkhi

Already have Ricky, Pedro, Salah & Mane. Aguero up top with Zohore (reluctantly)

Completely puzzled here, open to any other suggestions too

    Had 2 FT's. Did B

Laca & Cairney out, Zaha & Mkhi in

Is Eriksen looking at a drop tonight?

  • Registered Users Posts: 674 ✭✭✭carnie

I'm thinking King to Wilson and Jota to Mikhi. Will sleep on it.

Cairney dropping is a minor concern but I think I'm going to keep him as bench fodder till the WC.

Hmm actually I could do King to Ings and Jota to Dilva. Interesting.

Edit: I pulled the trigger on this one

Well it was more the not seeing him play that was the problem, he'll probably bang in a shedload next week!

Not looking like an Arsenal goal-fest, less likely a Lacazette one

Thinking of doing Shaw to Alonso and Sanchez to Mhki with my 2 ft.

Shaw doing ok at moment but could be dropped at any time.

Want to get an Arsenal attacker in. Had ear marked Laca but he is not starting. Hard to have Auba and Aguero without compromising the rest of the team.
Don't fully trust Miki but maybe I should!

So any decent strikers to get in instead of laca?

They could have easily scored 5 against Chelsea, highly likely they could actually score 5 against a dreadful West Ham defence. I expect Auba and Lacazette to both start against the lesser teams.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,399 ✭✭✭GiftofGab

Taking a risk and keeping Lacazette. As above poster mentioned he might start against weeker teams. Emery prob wasn't comfortable playing both Laca and Aubh against City and Chelsea.
    Anybody with me?

Ya, I'm keeping him for another week. Will soak up the expected price drop.

King to Ings and Jota to Mkhi with the 2FT.

    1.0 ITB

Really liked the look of Brooks so he is going to be Ralls replacement next week unless there's other fires to put out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,377 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

    Coleman & Bilva out
    Alonso & Pedro in

    Done

It would help if you backed up your opinion with some reasoning. Why exactly do you not expect Arsenal to score goals, particularly with such an excellent run of fixtures coming up?

I have Auba, expecting big returns over the next few weeks. As an Arsenal fan, yesterday looked promising despite the defeat. Some of the attacking play, the cutbacks in particular, was excellent. Lacazette had 14 goals and 5 assists in 25 games last season, can't see Emery leaving such a potent weapon on the bench every week.

They could have easily scored 5 against Chelsea,(but they didn't) Listening to that kind of talk for a few years now. I hope you are right but I am not an optimistic Aresenal fan
