When it’s the first time, assuming they do a full head bleach, it doesn’t matter how short your hair is, as the product will be painted on with a tint brush.

The issue will be when your hair grows.
The re-growth on the longer lengths on top will look ok for a few weeks but the re-growth on the faded back and sides will be quite noticeable against the bleached tips, so you might want to plan to get the back and sides cut sooner and to leave the top?
