Shocking bg stuff at the back from United. United fans mightn't like it but it should be a very good game from here on.

We are really bad at football

Was going to put the hurling back on after halftime finished, but I’m rethinking it now. Very enjoyable game of football being played here. :)

    Bailly the most overrated defender.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,520 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Game on now, he made up for that shocking miss earlier.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

United will win comfortably from here.

I remember someone called Bailly one of the best centre backs in the league on here not too long ago. Lol.

De Gea wlll be annoyed at that. Almost got it.

It's handy for United that Brighton are so bad at defending setpieces that they will still get away with it in all likelihood.

Martin Tyler sounded gutted commentating on that penalty

His mistake led to the peno.

Bailly only lives in two extremes. He's either outstanding or utter gash. Never consistently solid.

He’s gotten a lot worse at hiding his bias in recent years. That’s old age for you though.

I do agree with that tbf, he had some top class performances in his first few months at United. He was consistently solid at Villarreal though, he just needs to stay fit for more than a couple of months at a time and he’ll hit his stride again.

Annoying that refs let the smaller teams away with the niggly little fouls because they are the underdog.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,053 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

De Gea and Fred at fault for what resulted in the third goal.
Lindelof is awful though, surely United have better than him in the reserves?

Bailly getting plenty of stick but if he had a partner he could trust then maybe he isn't so rash.

    A Liverpool fan

    No, definitely a United fan.

Good attempt at deflecting though. ;)

Yes, not “a Liverpool fan” as you put it, bitterly.

    Who cares.

He's not as bad as he is showing today.

heh you know how bad Utd have been when looking at Fantasy Six, I picked only two Brighton/Hove players (one of whom is on a minus score) but I'm still within 27,000 of the leader :D

Aerial bombardment incoming. Jose’s favorite tactic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Bailly’s great entertainment.

He’ll probably score the winner now.

Brighton getting othing from ref this half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,627 ✭✭✭Sgt Pepper 64

you would have to be thinking that with a top manager like Jose and 2 players worth nearly 200 million between them, they could get at least 2 more goals even at this late stage

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,006 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

We are shockingly bad in the final third, whatever about the 3 goals we’ve shipped but I don’t remember a United side being this ineffective and lame in the last third. Worrying !

Utd will be lucky to be in the Top 4 this season.

    Very lucky.

    Very lucky.

If they don't then JM will be out the door, if he lasts that long.

With today's abject performance from all concerned I'm expecting the blame game to be in full effect.

Looking at the game objectively, there has been a lack of real quality on show. The first half was okay-ish, more so from Brighton. But the second half won't live long in the memory.

Pogba has been terrible, a supposedly world class midfielder doing his best impression of a Phoenix Park midfielder.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,214 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

JM will be gone by Xmas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,398 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Pogba has to be on the verge of a yellow for persistent fouling.
