    Hi All,

I work in the public sector. I specialise in ICT. I am thinking about a move to the private sector (I am considering a job offer at the moment). The job I am considering looks interesting but the Salary is lower and there is no Felix time.

    Am I mad to move?

I know i have a secure job with good holidays and a decent salary. However I'm not overly happy on a day to day basis. I don't like the culture. It's very bureaucratic and there is a lot of levelitis . Also, it's very difficult to get promoted.

I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has made the switch?

    Cheers.
