Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What level of taxation would you be subject to if you decided to move the whole lot out of Ireland if you won it? My first thought would be to hire a top class financial consultant who would get the money out of Ireland asap. Get the lotto to pay it into a non-Irish account. The banks here take a tasty chunk for "managing" the transfer, I hear.

No tax on moving money off-shore.

"Abandon" suitcases of cash in their houses

“A finder of property acquires no rights in mislaid property, is entitled to possession of lost property against everyone except the true owner, and is entitled to keep abandoned property”.

You just write everyones name on the back of the ticket and give them as much as you like tax free. The amount can be divided up whatever way you want tax free once each person to benefits name is on the back.

    did not know that

What Howard Huges used to do was to not pay key employees.

They'd sue him and win their back pay.

And there was no income tax on court settlements.
