Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right so looks like limerick is starting to become a hotbed for stabbings again.
Three stabbings in the last two days, A double stabbing involving one of the victims getting stabbed in the head.. Scary stuff then another one that happened in the north star last night just up the road from where pa o connor was stabbed to death last month absolute madness place is gone to the dogs.

I've said it before...for a city to get a reputation or a derogatory nickname, you need a media to facilitate it and a people willing to embrace/swallow it...unless Limerick manages to eradicate crime altogether I don't see a time when Limerick won't have that reputation...its an Irish thing, not a Limerick thing!

place is gone to the dogs? and what is dublin/cork/anywhere else?
Limerick has had a very low level of crime in recent year, comparably to other cities,
The stab city thing was blown hugely out of proportion at the time even..

No one is saying limerick is the bad city.. This is not a blame game both citys have their problems and thats it.
Im just saying that in the past month or two theres been a big rise in knife crime in limerick thats all.

well yes, from none, there's been an incresase,
but to say its huge, or is gone to the dogs, in comparison to anywhere else is just wrong and a lie

Two stabbings in less then three days four people stabbed in total? And someone was murdered less then 200 yards down the road from the second altercation less then a month ago, Limerick is a small place this type of behavior effects the community as a whole.
