Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

and why the f*ck do you go running to the media for such sh1te?

It's hard to know whether the woman went running to the media, or whether a desperate journalist was scouring social media posts for a "story."

    Yerman with the freaky legs?

Did he marry the Ma? Or the sister?

The news cycle is so short that journalists are struggling for content. The indo is full of these type of 'stories'.

Honestly, the world has gone mad altogether :pac:

There is advice about children going to secondary school on the radio at the moment, and apparently, parents are to explain how to talk to the other pupils and how to start a conversation! so 12/13 need an explanation of how to start a conversation.

We are getting to the stage where everyone will need a personal counselor to navigate the world.

Actually youngsters are not as adept socially as they used to be so maybe they do need a bit of help in that department.

Yes, but why are they not as socially adept as they use to be.

That's what happens when kids get smartphones at the age of 9. No idea how to have a conversation with a live person.

Smartphones, x-boxes, PlayStations. An 11 year old near me prefers to chat to his gaming friends online than his flesh and blood neighbours. His first day in secondary school may not be awkward at all but I would think it will be.

Same radio station now has LGBTI group giving out about not being allowed a presence at upcoming Pope gigs. I don't get it, why do these groups persist with wanting to be involved with a religion that expressly and unfairly excludes them ? F- that, align yourself with a more inclusive religion. Sure there's only the width of cigarette paper between the RCC and the CofI. The CofI would be far more progressive and welcoming!
