I have the worst Alonso fear in me after reading this thread :eek: ... would need to downgrade Firmino for a -8 to get him in as already did Ricky > Walcott earlier this week

Firmino > Arnie/Mitro & Cedric > Alonso worth a -8? Would be playing this 433 this week:

Alonso - Mendy - PVA - Coleman
Salah - Mane - Walcott
Aguero - Arnie - Ings

Not sure if its worth it with Pool playing a Vardyless Leicester that could get hung on the counter attack as was thinking about WCing next week anyway but am down at 530k after last week so don't really mind taking risks

Not a bad shout. Alonso could easily pay back the -8 over the next 2. I'd probably go for Mitro over Arnie though. Would give you a little change in the bank too which might be handy for future transfers.

Thanks - agree on Alonso's potential. Mitrovic definitely on the radar for the 2nd striker spot. The -8 would just mean that I probably wouldn't wildcard next week purely to give the two lads time to (hopefully) pay back the points hit

really good suggestion and stacks up for a -8. Just afraid Bilva might score well over the next two city home games.....hmmm

Brought in Walcott for Richarlison. Not overly confident in Walcott but it's probably going to be one of the more popular choices, the others I was considering would have needed a -4, and didn't think it was worth a hit this week

I'd go with WanB, if it was Robertson V WanB i'd go with Robertson but think WanB has a better attacking threat than TAA, plus TAA seems to be a yellow card magnet

Tough call after that. Holgate has less upside, but not sure I’d put all my eggs in the Palace basket either!

Brought Fred in little bit of gamble in this but think its worth it as he could should end up taking the corners and crossing freekicks for United. Had a few against spurs and they looked good (this might sound weird but United haven't have a decent crosser since giggs retired)

Given the size of the United team they should be scoring a lot more for set pieces then they do and I think he will prove good value for money.

Made some good forward runs in the last few games so I thik he will nick his share of goals this season sure you can't go too far wrong at 5.9
