    I think it’s brilliant to see him still performing at such a high level at 38. He would have been fancied to win yesterday as the stage was well suited to him so it’s no surprise.

    I wouldn't bet against Kwiatkowski. He's ambitious, talented and knows how to win. Sure the big mountains aren't his thing but it was going pretty well up them as a domestic at the TdF this year. And Valverde winning today was hardly a surprise, dodgy past or not, he's a proven winner on those finishes.
