The mass has ended. You may close the thread.

    discussion

    noun
the action or process of talking about something in order to reach a decision or to exchange ideas.
"the committee acts as a forum for discussion"

This is happening less and less on boards any more.
What is happening is shouting of opinions from an often unrelated or ill informed fixed position. It's tedious and dis-interesting to try to read and not at all promoting "discussion". But I think you know that.

Nice try, but you'll never reach the smugness levels of a mod locking a thread.

The latter sounds a lot more interesting than the former.

Same mod doing it. Why didn't you just send him a PM to ask why?

They won't ever address anything. Best course would have been not to bother asking at all.

It was deflecting away from news that DUP members were getting free holidays from suspected dictators with suspected human rights violations.

Why not post in one of the existing threads?

    The internet is filling up.

Purpose of those threads was for sad anti-Catholic sneery cunts to vent their bigoted views and try to ruin a nice day out for others
Now that the event is over, there is no need for the threads. Leaving them open might risk positive feedback coming from people who attended and enjoyed it. Against the AH biased agenda

So start your own website to facilitate it. Just don't call it a discussion board.

If I've just used the last of the Internet space I wish I could think of something meaningful to write...but failing that....boobies!

Or to highlight the abuse and double standards of the Catholic Church.

Mod-Threads reopened after mod discussion. Nobody likes my humour. Locking this now.
