CCTV Cameras won't go into night mode

    I have a two year old ANNKE CCTV DIY POE-wired CCTV system. NVR and four cameras. Ex-Amazon. Has worked fine up to now.
    Recently one of the cameras (and now a second camera) doesn't go into night mode when it gets dark. It stays in day mode with no leds lit.
    I conclude that both cameras are on the blink and need replacing.
    One is outdoors and the other indoors in a porch.
    Have tried light tapping on case to see if there's a stuck relay. The working cameras make a click sound when put into night mode by blocking the light sensor. So I assume some relay-like mechanism.
    Anyone disagree with the diagnosis?
