Which billpay phones can you get on the day of purchase?

    Which providers allow you to go into store, sign up and pay using bill pay on the day without waiting time to receive phone etc?

    Pretty much all of them that have outlets or carphone warehouse. Assuming you've good credit / history if not expect to pay a deposit

    Passport/Driving licence, proof of address(sometimes two). You'd be better off checking with the operator you want to move to.

    From what I've seen many stores now ask for deposit and retain it FOR 6 months this is probably to get cost covered in case of it been sold on then line/contract canceled.
