What are peoples experiences with using the US forwarding service?

    Is customs charges a given?

Might take a punt on some electronics from Amazon.com.

Would I be better using AddressPal or amazon directly?

Addresspal via the US was a total waste of time when I tried it. Half baked idea, the norm from AP. UK service appears to be ok.

Maybe it has streamlined by now?

Did you get picked for customs on US AddressPal?

Take it that you will pay customs if it is over the value allowed.
See the VAT/Duty thread for details if you need to work out the costs.

There is a dedicated AddressPal thread which should give you an idea of what’s involved.
