Outdoor cat 5 lightening protection?

    No point going into the setup as its not really relevant, main point is I'm thinking of running about 50m of CAT 5 cable (no need for CAT 6) outside to a shed.

    Question is as part of the run will be tacked along the side of the house should I bother with some form of surge protection?

    I was looking at that one but didn't see it if you know what I mean, looked them up on Amazon and picked up on the APC brand name for this one and didn't look at that UBIQUITI one on the same page.

    Thanks for the link price is better and the device looks designed to be installed outside.
