Can I change my account to a student account?

    Hi, I'm starting college as a mature student and I'm wondering whether I can change my current account to a student one, and if so how I go about it? I'd rather not have to change account details/card number etc as messing about with direct debits etc is just added hassle.

    Thank you for getting in touch with us.

    To change you account to a student account you can call into a branch with photo ID and proof of University attendance. You're account details will not change and you should not need to change your visa debit card.
