Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is turning into a farce.

It's a good indication of how meaningless the position of President is.

Can we not just hire a clerk to stamp the legislation?

I admire him for putting his son's first day at school before media hype at this very early stage of the campaign.

As for the election; I shan't be trying to escape it at all, I'll be listening to and reading about the candidates in order to make an informed decision before voting.

All the dragons seem to want to be president lately.
Im not a fan of Sean G but this is laughable

He wants to run the country but has to mind the kids first. He is a Grade 1 idiot.

Looks like its going to be the most awkard election in history. What are your plans to escape it all. I plan to stay drunk untill december.

    Michael D for President....

I’ll let you into a little secret.

The President doesn’t run the country.

He’s dead right to priorities his kids first over a baying media mob.

He’ll get my vote based on that alone.

Listen I liked SG and voted for him but the time has passed.

I feel sorry about what happened 7 yrs ago but it's over now and he has been compensated. Why would he want to revist all this.

I have to agree, he was right to put his kid first. he is not even on the ballot yet so does not need to do broad interviews - he needs to get the nomination first. Some other candidates seem to be mad for media and putting no work into getting the nomination.

Actually that would be a great idea.
Like a jury duty. You select random citizens and invite them to sign off legislature.

Of the people. For the people.

Well if you want to be pedantic about my exact wording then lets replace "run" with "represent".
The significance is exactly the same.

    I dont agree with you.

He can't do both? A one task at a time bandit.
Whats wrong with answerings few media questions, take like 15/20 minutes.
Unless there is something to hide?

Sorry Mr French President, i can met you right now, i doing the school homework this week.

Its a stupid attempt to come across as a "family" man....

    Anyway, enjoy voting.

But he is a family man.

He doesn’t need to attempt to “come across “ as one, whatever that’s supposed to mean.

As of now, he’s not a candidate for the presidency, so why should he make himself available to the media?

They’d have no chance of getting past Brod and Shadow.

he anounces he is running for president, yet we can't ask him why? We can't hear his vision?
He has to wait to get the council votes first?
    Will they ask him?

If thats logical to you fair enough. To me thats daft.

Yes he really does need to "come across". All politicians do this nonsense. Its part of all political campaigns. He just doesn't seem very good at it.

Anyway, im not going to argue, your obviously a fan.

    Far from a fan.

I know very little about the man, but have the patience to wait for him to put forward his manifesto in his own time.

    What’s the rush?
