Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advantages of British Passport?

    Hi,

I'm eligible for a British passport, but I'm wondering if there are any advantages at all to having one?

I thought the commonwealth countries might be easier to visit, but for Australia at least, the length of a holiday visa is the exact same for Irish and British passports.

Are there any tangible benefits to having one?

    Cheers

EDIT: To answer my own question, very little benefit:

Well I have one, reasons being, far more British embassies or consulates around the world, should I ever need assistance, also I visit England regularly & I guess when they leave the eu, it may be easier or less time consuming when I'm travelling in & out.

Other than that, probably no advantage at all.
