Best half of rugby Jack Carty has played all season, exhibition stuff.

Is there a TMO? No indication there is, thought same at Munster game in January.

All games have tmo s now

Connacht's work at the breakdown tonight has been absolutely abysmal.

Getting very quiet ones in the Sportsground so. Wasn’t used at all in Munster match and doesn’t seem to have been tonight. Almost impossible to have a half without tmo involvement these days

Props should be subbed off for passes like that

    Buckley is definitely a winger

Terrific try - had Cardiff under huge pressure even with possession and something like that was inevitable.

Thornbury. Not sure what happened to him though.

Yeah spotted eventually.. despite the fact that premier sports were talking about Thornbury for a solid 15 mins into the second half

He can train with the backs and teach TOH a few things

While I know this is banter etc it's pretty terribly timed and executed given the performance O'Halloran put in tonight in awful conditions.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen you post anything remotely positive in this thread. TOH made a bad error, he’s a professional player the last ten years, league winner, Irish international. You’re talking about him sitting on your couch, just to offer some perspective.

    No. N°14 was Denis Buckley

TOH hasn't been the same player since Lowe stole his soul.

Jack carry getting back to his best again. Breaks have done him a world of good. My motm although Thornbury was probably playing better until the injury. Hope it's minor. Our lineout is different gravy with him playing

Wasn't expecting 5 points after first 15 minutes. Brilliamt result. When's the last time we whitewashed a team?

Thornbury going off is a bit of killer. Will presumably be without Dillane next week in Murrayfield and Roux apparently won’t be back either so could be looking at Maksymiw and Niall Murray. Thornbury in half hour or so he got and Dillane were both very good, Dillane really physical in his carries. Heffernan very good game too.

Conversion rate when in their 22 was still below par and got turned over too often but much improved generally over last run of form (final 50 in Montpelier aside).

Best game Carty played all season, thought Robb and Godwin linked well together, it’s a pity have had to deploy Godwin on wing so frequently, he’s far superior in the centre. Adeolokun looked sharp, his defence seems to have improved, should have fed porch though on his break. Porch is lightning, need to get ball in his hands as often as possible.

Huge game next week, Edinburgh eight ahead, they win and be very difficult to catch, Scarlets have Kings at home so would also open up gap, Connacht win with Kings away the following week should leave them well placed.

Don't get me wrong. Heff was absolutely good and Connacht head and shoulders above. But Olly Robinson still deserves motm. 3 turnovers, 1 may-have-been, 1 putting us under pressure to conceed the turnover on the next phase. Everywhere with and without the ball.
Only our 2 best players on the field (Butler+Heff) have managed to break him.
It's Lam biggest mistake to have him let go from Bristol
