Boyle is an ex Leinster man.
And for Europe I think Connacht can only register one non front row player for the next two rounds so will have to choose between three loan signings.

Also think Stephan Fitzgerald is illegible to play against Munster as he’s on loan from them ?

Connacht had a Munster prop on loan play for them against Munster last season, I’m fairly certain. Think something similar happened with Cooney a while back too. Shouldn’t be an issue.

Thought I had heard Tom Daly wasn’t eligible to play against Leinster for that reason. Could be wrong though

Unless they’ve changed the rules, which in fairness I haven’t kept up with, they should be fine. Minutes played may affect eligibility.

Players playing against their old team could be part of the loan agreement. I seem to remember in the season that Cooney and Roux came on loan from Leinster 1 was allowed to play against Leinster and the other wasn't due to the terms of the loan

Those last minute defeats to Glasgow and Ospreys are really talking their toll.

As far as I can recall they are the only games we lost in the dying minutes this year.

    Nope. Don't think so,
I'll have a look at the results later.

Those last minute defeats are a sickener but after the chaos of last season to be over half way through season with a genuine shot of topping the conference is serious progress. Have to think the team are going to improve as the season goes on with new coaching set up getting more settled.

Having said that, Cardiff are currently five up v Scarlets late in the first half. If they get the win, Connacht will be as close to fifth as first. All to play for

Munster and Cardiff both winning is not ideal. Thought both would lose today.

No favour from Scarlets at home anyway, match looks dead and buried at 5-20 with about 5 mins to go.

I imagine Daly will be involved in some way next Sat. He was the 24th man yesterday and I'm not sure we'll get away with Bundee 3 weeks in a row. Plus might be nice to have in vs Sale.
Also can't see Copeland not being involved in any of the 3 interpro's so I'd say he'll be in there somewhere. Everywhere else is up for debate with form and niggles.

To put this in context, its working out to the 2nd best season we have had in the pro 14 / 12. (bar 16)

Friend has a nice balance to the team / squad / culture, and the signings have all being strong, I was impressed by Goodwin the other night too.

Think we need to sign him up for another 2 years pretty smartly or he could get approached like LAM.

Makes no difference how long he signs for with the 6 month clause in the contracts.
I do agree there seems to be a great vibe from the team.

Ospreys are Munster Iite. So one dimensional

Can see Dragons winning this from here if They keep getting cheap penalties

I was more listening to the match than watching to be honest but seemed like the Ospreys were average at times alright.
