Are Sale ahead of Worcester though? Is it not based on wins when they are on the same points? I'm not sure.

I thought connacht were on 17 going into this match.
    17+4?

I know it says 22 points on the official site. Is it wrong?

"(c) If ranking remains unresolved and/or if clubs have not played each other previously in the pool stage, qualification/ranking will be determined as follows:
    (i) the best aggregate points difference from the pool stage; or
(ii) if equal, the number of tries scored in the pool stage; or
(iii) if equal, the club with the fewest number of players suspended under Disciplinary Rules in the pool stage; or
(iv) if unresolved, by drawing lots."

We got the bonus point win

    I stand corrected! 😊

We're avoiding Clermont, so basically from absolutely 0% chance to 2% chance to go further.
Good to give a young lad (Daly to be registered) some high level knock-out stage experience, without being hammered :). Otherwise, assuming we have no more injuries, we should go full-strenght, and see

You give Connacht a 1 in 50 chance? It’s Sale not the All Blacks

    I can't believe it's not Butler
I’m going to Newcastle in May for the challenge and champions cup finals.

Would be amazing if Connacht were playing.

Sale are beatable as we found out only last week.

A final vs Clermont would be class

In the unlikely event of both Connacht beating Sale away and Bristol beating La Rochelle away, Connacht would host Bristol in the semi. That would be some craic.

    Some Like It TOH
Hopefully McKeon wasn't badly injured going off. He's had horrible luck with injuries

In the space of two posts!

This thread is full of lunatics :pac::pac::pac::pac:

We are 50/1 to win it with Sale at 12/1.
I'd say we will be 10-12 point underdogs.
Should be fun, lots of great potential opponents if we manage to progress.

Pity it’s Sale away in the quarters. Not a fan of repeat pairings in the knockout stages. Winnable game though.

Out of playing Clermont away or Sale away we definitely have the more winnable trip. I'd give us a decent shout if we have our first team starting. We had lads like Fitzgerald, Carey, de Buitlear starting in October and the scoreboard didn't do us justice.

All three runners-up will be playing the team that won their group!

Very winnable game away to sale. Connacht will be going over with a stronger side than last time. Also worth considering, sale doesn’t seem to have much squad depth/ use a very similar team week in week out. By the end of March they could be burnt out.

Very good point. Friend has rotated well in the Pro14 and it was a good decision to go with the young guys for the early rounds of the challenge cup. Sale could be ramping up a few injuries in the next while if they don't rotate.

It's in form Sale, and away Sale.
But we won't be ridiculous, same as Gloucester away QF few years ago, I guess

That was some win. Have to say I had given up hope with 15 to go when Bordeaux were on our 5m line and we were 8 points down. That was some try to get us back into the game considering the pressure we were under and all the handling errors up til then.

    Check out @connachtrugby’;s Tweet: https://twitter.com/connachtrugby/status/1086984097954779137?s=09

    Cartys intercept

Gets up from a ruck. Plays goes other way. Resets line and is eyeing the first receiver the second the pass is passed to him. Not anything hugely remarkably but clearly was hoping for a chance to pick one off
