Got a young pup and have yet to decide on a name, was thinking of going for something traditional like shep or Roy. So now I'd like to know what you call your working dog!

Laddie, Holly and Nell. Holly is a small beardie that the kids named, otherwise it would have been Meg or something similar.

Inherited Lassie from the uncle when he passed on. Every working bitch he ever had in his 87 years was called Lassie, and every dog was Barney.

My in-laws were great at naming their sheepdogs, sadly the only one I remember was Hero. Great name.

Way ahead lassie, come in behind shep. Good dog jess. The grand father use to be at this all the time with his dog but she would work grand for him. Anyone else try to work she'd just stand there looking at you.
